demonfx has a slightly higher pitch than JHS.

I think he means that the AT-DS is slightly brighter/crisper sounding ....its doubtful that the pitch would be altered. That difference could by corrected by adjusting the tone control .

Demonfx AT I use it on gigs and I find that the tone gets thinner at higher volumes. At room practice volume it's almost the same as the JHS. Demonfx products seem to have this situation. ly-rock pedal is much better, probably because of the internal electronic components

Which one is the jhs?and how the clone one compares to the original in your opinion?

The sound quality is very similar. Slightly different in detail in the treble area, the original jhs has a softer and more powerful sound.
