27:50 That's a lot of good and wise railing against wasteful government spending and companies protesting not winning gov contracts. -------------- Too bad that as soon as Bezos' lost NASA's HLS contract for a moon lander, all of his highfalutin' moralizing completely evaporated! Now he and his partners are protesting NASA's contract. Proving once again that Jeff Bezos is just another money-grubbing, two-faced business man with the morals of a mafia boss' lawyer. If JFK had not been shot, how would the space program have been looking today? If Kennedy had seen the moon landings, seen the space shuttle and today's Space X and others, would we now be living on the moon today?
@RWBHere

According to Kennedy's, and von Braun's dreams, we would have seen Mars landings by 1981. Millions of young people heard the announcement that NASA would land people on Mars before 1981, and those still alive are still waiting. They'll be very old when/if they finally arrive there. We're already 40 years or so beyond schedule....

It's difficult to know how far behind BO is to Space X because they have different ways to operate. Space X builds, tests and iterates. BO seems to be about doing it right the first time. Maybe from New Glenn to New Armstrong will be a shorter development time

@@filipo7703 Yes. I know that SpaceX is ahead. As I said, the difficulty is to know HOW far ahead. Because in theory, when (if ever) BO launches New Glenn, it will be already be the final product. And it should in theory be on the level of Falcon Heavy. So let's say BO is able to suddenly launch New Glenn in 2022 and it works. That would mean BO in 2022 will be slightly ahead than SpaceX was when they first launched Falcon Heavy in early 2018. So we would say BO is just 4 years behind SpaceX (the difference in launch time between Falcon Heavy and New Glenn) But WHO KNOWS if they will launch New Glenn by 2022?
@filipo7703

@@rogeriopenna9014 There is a long way between lauching a big rocket for the very first time in company history and then reusing it multiple times, bring down the cost, establish trust and even 10+ launches a year. SpaceX is currently a biggest satellite operator in the world also, they're building their own mega constellation. I'd say (guessing of course) that Blue Origin may be 10 years behind spaceX given the pace of their work.
