My hometown Centurion Lounge. Been a frequent visitor and it makes my Amex Platinum a keeper.

My home base! 🙌🏽 I’ve been trying to give LGA a chance as well, but JFK holds a special place in my heart.

I've spent a ton of time at this lounge and it by far is the best that I have encountered. Highly recommend to stop in and check it out.

I’ve been there a few times and didn’t even realize there was a speakeasy and an equinox room. Can’t wait for my next trip to check those out!

Perfect timing; I’ll get to go there this week! Great tour of all the spaces there. Will def go at the three-hour mark to fully take advantage of everything. Before getting the card, I thought, why would anyone want to spend time at a lounge? Lol.

Plat user as well. Used to live in Upstate NY, and every time I need to go somewhere I book the one with the 3 or 4 hour lay over time in JFK for this lounge. Now I live in Dallas, DFW is not too shabby at all:).

Definitely the best centurion lounge I’ve been to. The food is always on point and they even have showers available as well. I always arrive extra early just for I can relax here.

Hey Sebby - long time follower and YT lurker/supporter. Just wanted to clarify on the last minute of this video: all of the major US airlines (UA, AA, DL, AS) all offer complimentary upgrades to all levels of their elites. That is not specific to Delta. And no instruments are necessary to clear them. I know you guys are Delta fans, but saying that Delta is the only one that upgrades low-level elites without a cert is inaccurate. Love that JFK Centurion Lounge! ✌️✅

Got my Amex Platinum a few weeks ago, can't wait to utilize the lounge access!

I visited the JFK lounge a few months ago and it was great. I honestly didn't even see the whole thing, Sebby went in to areas that I didn't even see.

Sweet! Headed there in March!! For Canadian friends, WestJet departs terminal 4 too.

Flying out of JFK next month and I can’t wait to visit the Centurion lounge to see how much it dwarfs the one in Philly.

When do you ask for an upgrade if you have bought your tickets in advance? or do you do it when when purchasing the airline tickets? To get the upgrade. Do you go to check in first? Ask stewardess when you board? Ask Boarding Concierge? Need to know how to strategize on asking for an upgrade. Don't want to embarrass myself and ask the pilot for an upgrade 😁

Upgrades automatically happen if you have airline status and there's available room. If you don't have status, you'll never get upgraded (for free).

I was so excited about getting into to see this lounge for my flight. Then I learned it closes at 8pm. My flight is at 1am. Damn.

Just thought I'd point out that irrespective of what terminal your flight takes off from at JFK, you can use your boarding pass to clear TSA security at the terminal which has the lounge you want. Depending on whether the terminal is connected air-side to the terminal of your departure gate you may need to re-clear security though.

Finally got the card. I should have paid closer attention to the Uber and Saks credits. As I wouldn’t be getting the full amnt for this yr. I’ve also learned that the lounges are for departing. Not arrival like some delta ones. Which no biggie. But good to know

Don't forget, Delta Reserve cardholders gets into the Centurion Lounge too!

Yes! Even though you have to be flying Delta same day, it is still a great Delta Reserve benefit (which also includes Sky Club access). I was a little sad it wasn't mentioned with the other eligible cards.

It looks that this lounge offers private rooms too. Any insight on that? I'm guessing its FCFS but I'm wondering if that is a centurion card only perk.

Never been to the JFK lounge. That and the DFW one are on my list to visit. So far I’ve gone to the ones in CLT, LAS, and PHL.

Have a completely unrelated question. If I have the chase preferred card and the United explorer....can I combine those points/miles onto either card?

Hi Sebby. How easy is it to go to the Centurion Lounge if we are not flying out of Terminal 4? For example, if we fly JetBlue or American, is it just a matter of budgeting 10-15 minutes to walk from the Lounge to the gate?

You have to get through TSA twice and ride the train between lounges. Well more than 10-15 minutes.

I just have a Cash Magnet card so we had to use the Amex Plebeian Lounge. Turned out to be an old janitor's closet where they served warm tap water and packets of Saltines. : (

Hey Seb, would it be possible to make a CHASE trifecta calculator? I’m assuming many folks have the CSR as a multiplier n perks card on their chase setup and it would be great to see what the $550 does when the three cards are at work. When calculating if the CSR is worth it, the overall value is more relevant. Same for Amex. Cheers.

Didn’t like Centurion Lounge in Miami in the couple times I tried it. For Miami I liked AA’s Admirals Club a lot better. I’ll try JFK Centurion Lounge soon.

Sebby I have a question. First off love the videos very informational! My question is, I am an AMEX Platinum Card holder but my girlfriend is not and I book 2 tickets for a flight in an airport that has a AMEX lounge with my AMEX Platinum. Can both of us get into the lounges due to buying 2 tickets or am I the only one that can get in because I am the card holder?

No, he was just pointing out that silver elites on Delta get space-available complimentary upgrades just like the rest of the majors. This is not a dependable stat. It’s based on load factor and clearance of all other elites on the upgrade board. Not an exclusive perk to Delta.
