Thanks, Dr. Abramson. Your scholarship is very valuable to me. I'm a born again Christian in Baltimore. I *love* the Jewish people, and respect them _so_ much. Please ignore hateful comments on KZread. We need you. Hope your cough heals. God bless you! 🙏🏽

Many Jewish customs and past religious practises such as the border sacrifice are very similar to Jewish custom and practises. these were in place long before the middle ages. I suspect that from Babel some of these things had been passed on. I find it interesting that despite the geographical issues, that the practises and customs are similar

there is more to spices than adding flavor and disguising "past sell-by date": many strong spices contain bacteriostatic compounds that will at least slow down the process of decay itself, so act as preservatives, not just "camouflage" :) Chag urim sameach!

Very interesting, thank you. If my memory works well, at least somehow, I was told that during ww2, some us soldiers stationed in Algeria, North Africa communicated with local Jews in Spanish except that some of these US Puerto Rican soldiers used a few ladino expressions without of course being Jews themselves.

Ladino is much closer to modern Spanish than Yiddish is to German. Ladino and Spanish are basically sister languages, the common "father" being Old Castilian. To this day, in Argentina they don't call Spanish "Español" but "Castellano" :)

DNA is showing in the Americas as many as 600 million people have Jewish DNA. Many are converting (returning) to Judaism. We are Sephardic Jews with Native American admixture and we've been here since 1492.

at the end of your talk, you basically said that if the missionary would stop eating pork and get circumcised, he could lead the Jewish community. Maybe there can be less strict criteria for converting to Judaism, after all your accidentally, pointing to what was required back, then in China.

Maybe the Lion was the Lion from the tribe of Judah! P.S. I think Jews actually invented Hellenism. Ezekiel chapter 16 gives you an insight that they made stautes of human form. Unlike the other nation's who made animal GOD'S, the rebellious jews made human statues. Ezekiel is before the Hellenistic period of Greece. I am guessing exiled Jews brought this concept into Greece.

Shalom, Salam, Peace. Quran [Last Testament] We Married Both Sarah And Hagar [Egyptian Handmaid] To Abraham The Friend Of God. In The Songs Of Solomon The Word ''Muhammadim'' Translates As His Lover [Solomon's] Torah & Gospel Both Claim That Abraham The Friend Of God, Was Unwed To Hagar, Also Within The Songs Of Solomon, Claiming That He Had A Lover. Translation Correction: His Lover = Praiseworthy = Muhammad im = Respect “Behold! My Servant, whom I uphold; My Elect One [AHMAD], in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. 2 He shall not cry out, nor raise His voice, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. 3 A bruised reed shall He not break, and smoking flax shall He not quench. In truth He shall bring forth justice. 4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till He has established justice in the earth; and the islands shall wait for His law.” - Isaiah 42:1-4 The Elect One = AHMAD = Muhammadim.
