@@Yuurei21 If you watched the show (as opposed to just watching the scene by itself), you would know that the sex scene IS very personal and intimate. It's not treated as a handshake. Instead it's extremely loving. Basically it's that all the couples - Nomi and Amanita, Riley and Will, Capheus and Zakia, Wolfgang and Kala, Lito and Hernando - are all having sex with each other, intimately. But because they are connected via their minds because they are sensates, they are simultaneously sharing in a group experience. That doesn't diminish their intimacy of their couple. I don't know why you would say "I don't know maybe I am old fashioned or a complete idiot or plain evil" - nobody was suggesting that you were, and you know that. No need to be so dramatic and self hating. I think you just misunderstand the scene. I am someone who believes sex is a way to express intimacy and love, I don't like hookup culture, and I understand that orgies are associated with being pornographic - but this is NOT what the Sense8 orgy scenes are. They aren't done for titillation like "oh look how edgy we are" or "look how arthouse we are". Instead it's about how their minds are connected through love. And why I said it was "art" is because the best art is something that speaks to you on a deep level and shows you something beautiful or profound about existence". And Sense8 does that for me. Basically the point of the show, in my view, is about how everyone is connected. And the sensates know this to a special level because they have unlocked their brains. But experiences like having sex, it's a very universal experience, even though it's unique and special between two people, it's also something that we share with all of humanity because it's through this that we were conceived. You see in other scenes of Sense8 that the characters share other experiences like: listening to music, dancing, fighting for their lives, celebrating a holiday together, experiencing judgement, feeling insecure and lonely, feeling happy at existence - all experiences that are universal, that we can tap into as a way to connect to wider humanity.

Why would Netflix ever cancel this and the OA? So not fair! I love watching this!!

For those of you that were here for this show as it was coming out we know why it got cancelled. We fought with the show writing into Netflix and they gave us approval for that final 2 and a half hour episode. Just like the cast we fought with them against BPO (netflix). They can’t handle what’s different. What’s the truth. Words can’t explain just how perfect it was this show ended how it did. The only shame is the world we live in not being as open as some of us sensorium. To the end we fight together. We are greater than a cluster. We are the collective. We see what is going on and we are not done fighting till we are dead. As Lito says in his big motion picture “NO MORE LIES.”

I learned about its existence (Sense8 serie) only in 2020 or 2021... I wasn t well at that time I knew it was /would be a powerful watch but I couldn t go past those first dark minutes... 1 year later I pushed trough ...and I fell in love... I ve rewatched it ...maybe 6 times (last one was 1 week ago -june 2024) . SENSE 8 IS ART, a Masterpiece ...Truly ! (IMO) (and those scenes and the music/songs choices and the words...everything...I feel deeply connected to all of it the entire serie...and I ll rewatch it again and again...Starting this week end...or tomorrow!)

It is not really the remix. In fact it is kinda mix of the remix and the jetta version. At the beginning it is pure remix but right before wooah moment starts everything slows down and the pure jetta version starts. It happens at 1:41. The transition on the show was done better than this remake (?). BTW, sorry for my grammar.

I thought I remembered hearing this song before. Sure enough Alvin Lee played this song at Woodstock 1969 and recorded 1971. They are both fantastic.

For one, I don't know if Indira Erendira is ok with nudity. Secondly, Lito is the only character who is perceiving any other participants in his sessions with Hernando. Dani and Hernando only perceive Lito. So, from Hernando's perspective, it would be cheating. Unless they discussed involving her directly.

Well... the cluster has been revealing their secrets with those closest to them. If Lito were to tell Herno and Dani that he's been mentally living the lives of 7 other people, including 3 straight men and a lesbian, it might open up that possibility. Dani's dynamic is a bit fuzzy at this point. She is no longer the beard, because Lito has been outed. So I don't know how the show will use her in the next season.

AD L for me he looked too formidable. He looked too tall, large shoulders and muscle. What made Capheus even more amazing was how he looked like the least intimidating thing, and so completely friendly. This guy looks friendly, but unlike Aml, he looks like he could kick your ass. When Aml stole those coconuts. When he arrived despite it all to take on the superpower and do the right thing...... It looked so incredibly brave.
