According to this tutorial i should climb in vampire/Meteor mk3 and dive on F2H/Mig/F80/F86 catch them and kill.. :D Thanks for a great tip Gaijin..

I have a feeling like searching equal opponents for the late-war german fighters got out of control with the post-war ally-fighters - they of course are superb to the late germans. So it basically became a MiG-17 vs. F-86, making War Thunder a totally different game when playing end-tier. Feels like playing a Korean-War-themed game.

Part 17: Jets, Just don't even try unless you got a sabre or mk. 8 cuz ur fucked if not ! Can't wait to get my damn Hunter and show all those bastards !

I think you should add a gamemode where you start out with jets since it is a a lot more diverse and different that traditional ww2 plane dog fights

This is a very bad tutorial on jet combat lol... Not to mention dated (no mention of the hunter about to rock up and be a new top tier jet). You mention air brakes... flying a Ho-229... You snap landing gear in a meteor at the start of a video? What? That's sloppy for someone trying to teach something. Saying head ons are 50/50? So a P-80 should head on with a meteor? (.50cals vs 20mms?) Why encourage a head on anyway? That's such a bad thing and habit to do...

+J fer Yeah... It has an airbrake but it's certainly not the best example... It's fairly small and hard to see, not to mention not as effective as others. A good example would have been the airbrakes on the Meteor, Sabre, or MiG-15, they're big and easy to see, so suit the idea of an example.

Yeah no kidding it's easy pickings for a shooting star when the shooting star out turns my 262

The research needed to get new planes is ridiculous when you start getting closer to the jets I wish it would be reduced or start offering better boosts that can be obtained more often

1) You really don't have to climb in meteor. It performs much better low.2) staying low in a jet is the best tactic , mainly because evading jets diving on you is very easy.3) "not talking about La-15" u mean it's so good? =)

I have the premium f86-35, and I think props are more fun.considering I go against supersons and 9.0, I want that to be fixed

+Shane C They're trying to fix the ultra low graphics issue with the Dagor Engine coming in 1.53... however, some people, such as me, who aren't exactly rich and don't have a brilliant pc can only run on ultra low, and not everyone can afford a better build.

I have an idea, let's NOT put jets vs props when there are only like two fighters and the rest bombers.

@@vicsaucey Do you have a premium account or lots of Eagles? Because I play RB on an average of 2-3 kills per match and I've only got Rank III in two nations and Rank II in one

Ki-200 and ME163 should NOT climb as the narrator says. best way is to rush, and catch low energy jets who just took off. this works especially on Korea

@supernavy The Cl-13 is in no way the same jet as the F-25. It is a faster accelerating jet and has a higher top speed. It isn't a very severe difference, but it's enough to make a difference in jet combat. And, before you say it, I know the stat cards say they have the same performance, but they do not. Like many things from Gaijin, you can't trust the stat cards. Also, due to the recent update, they are at the same BR. Along with both Shooting stars. Because, you know, the P-80 has the same performance as the F80, right? And all of the Meteors, bar the Mk. 8, have the same BR. They must have the same performance too, right? RIGHT, GAIJIN?

Okay, did no one else see the La-17 when he looked at the russian tech tree?

All I need to know is if the F-100 Super Sabre series is going to be added! It's my personal fave Korean era Jet series besides the Fury, Thunderchief and Skyhawk

If the the fucking Hawker Hunter F.1 is being put in, which can go up to 1000kph in a straight line, I think adding the Super Sabres wouldn't be a problem. Especially since Gaijin's new cut off year is around 1965. If you don't believe me PhlyDaily has a Dev Server video for the next patch and one that talks about the new cut off year

+KeybladeMaster9913 All the Sabres and Mig-15s can already reach above 1000 kph in a straight line, so what's your point here? If you think it wouldn't be a problem to add Jet that is in an entirely different performance class than the ones we currently have(including the Hunter F.1), then you don't know very much about your "fave" Korean era Jet. It isn't comparable in performance to a Hunter... not to a Mig-17F... it's a counterpart to the Mig-19!(!!) It is 150-200 kph FASTER than anything in the game right now, it uses an afterburning engine which is a no-no in itself, and it's rate of climb is DOUBLE(!!!!!!!) that of the Mig-15bis! Oh, and of course the fact that it is armed with AIM-9 Sidewinder Air to Air missiles... how can you seriously suggest something like this?!

War Thunder shuld add The "J29 Tunnan" a swedish aircraft that flew for The first time in 1948

Hi Gaijin. A few friends of mine had an idea for War Thunder. They always asked me why don't Gaijin add groundsoldiers? Or battles when you can play as a pilot, ship, tank or footsoldier and all of that at the same time? I hope we gave you something to put in new updates :)

I'm sure it's a stretch, but I myself would like to see that too. It would definitely be nice to see a infantry shooter that isn't a fast pace fps, maybe if that had it like swtor. Maybe a more tactical and slightly turn based shooter like swkotor.

I've been getting Golden eagles (by buying them) But it might sound like oh I'm in it for the Jets no.... I'm just buying premium planes, or tanks To use as a side to boost my Regular planes etc

How about keeping tier 5 vehicles out of the lower tiers all together, especially tank battles.

I would recommend the F-80A, the MiG-9, Meteor Mk. 3, Me 262 A, and maybe the He 162 because all of them teach you about the importance of maintaining energy and flying in a way that doesn't waste it

ok i play warthunder on ps4 i always use controllers i swiched to mouse and keyboard to see how it was i diddnt like so i swiched back now my general chat is stuck in all HOW DO I FIX IT

Well, that was then, this is now. The wings on planes like the G 91 are so brittle you sneeze and they rip off. So, this video now is very misleading to any noobs who want to buy their way to the jets.

Too bad most people will never get to see jets since the BR change. Only those with enough time and determination will eventually get to them.
