Jets high expectations, Knicks roster revamp, What went wrong for the Nuggets? | THE HERD

Спорт

The Denver Nuggets lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Nuggets HC Michael Malone said “the season’s over… that’s what’s hard.” Colin Cowherd and Nick Wright reflect on what went wrong for the Nuggets, and ask if the New York Knicks should revamp their roster following a blowout exit to the Indiana Pacers. Plus, they discuss the expectations on the New York Jets and if they should be favored in 14 of their games this season.

Nick is trying to control his hating on Jokic, but it is hard for him. When comparing Jokic and Giannis, he is highlighting the fact, that Bucks lost against Boston in their title defense without Middleton injured, bud he is not mentioning, when Giannis won his title all the teams were destroyed by injuries, Nets were without Irving and Harden for the last 5 games of the series (Harden played on one leg the last game) and yet a nail saved Giannis to lose the second round, afterwards Hawks were missing for some games Tray and in the final they got Phoenix with injured CP3, at the same time West got injured AD and LBJ for Lakers, Kawhi injured for Clippers, Denver were without MPJ and Murray. Title is a title, but when you compare players you go for the details and no one is having this conversation about the Giannis title. Last year Jokic went against fully healthy Phoenix, Lakers and Heat, only Wolves missed KAT for some games, but Jokic`s run was absolute domination

I think the underrated part about Rodgers this year is that he’s engaged and trying in the offseason. His last year w the packers he openly didn’t care anymore, that obviously played a part in the relationship or lack thereof with the young wr’s. Rodgers doesn’t need to be great for the jets to be good. They have a good defense, breece hall, Wilson, Williams, objectively improved OL, Aaron just needs to be around 18-20th among starting qb’s and that’s 100x better than what they got from Zach Wilson and if he’s remotely close to mvp Aaron they’re a legitimate afc title game contender

Nick and Colin are two biggest Jets haters. Robert Saleh has a losing record as a coach because he had Zach Wilson. No coach be successful with Zach Wilson. Aaron Rodgers is the better QB than any other QB on their schedule. Brock Purdy? Purdy looks good because Kyle shanahan’s system makes any QB look good. Patriots, Vikings, titans and colts got rookie QBs, Jets defense smacked CJ Stroud all around the field last season and that’s with Zach Wilson but now Aaron Rodgers is back, Josh Allen ain’t Patrick Mahomes and show how sucks he really is since Stefon Diggs left, Tyreek Hill makes Tua look good, Russell Wilson ain’t same since he left Seahawks and Trevor Lawrence is just ok. Aaron Rodgers is going to shred up everyone. None of these QBs on the Jets schedule are on Rodgers level. None of them. Josh Allen? He has no MVPs and anything to his name. Aaron Rodgers is going to make people like Colin, Nick, Joy Taylor and etc all cry for mercy. Can’t wait-Bart Scott
