Love the “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" drum solo intro there! Lol Ian is always brilliant and surrounds himself with great musicians to play his music with him… They are often called Jethro Tull and become timeless moments for all of us! What else is there to call it than ‘Tull Music’?

@@danmar007 I am not exaggerating at all. I know Ian is not the famous and his songs are not for everyone, but just think about that. What if he was famous as Freddie mercury or Michael Jackson? What’s make him better performer? In my opinion only, he is the greatest frontman who ever played with any band. Ian is a virtuoso musician, playing the flute, the guitar, piano, mandolin, pipes, saxophone, clarinet and more. For all the things he does no one in the history of rock and roll can match what he does as a one man performer. You can just see the rhythm that this man had, his hand movements, his leg movements, how he would coordinate a beat with his body and the way his eyes light up when he’s hitting certain notes. I was blessed to see Jethro tull by myself a few years ago, and I get it, his voice isn’t what it’s used to be but he was still awesome, and he is doing it for over 50 years! Just a dominating force on stage. He has the all package, songwriter, performer, stage present, musician, great humour and just one of a king human being. But it's just my opinion of course, so don't be mad about me 😅

@@user-qz9ux3gl2z 🙂 I'm not mad at you. I love Jethro Tull. I've been following them since they first came out. And I can listen to their early albums all say long. As a guitarist, I was partial to Martin Barre's talent, although I do think Ian is an original in the world of rock. But there have been SO MANY extraordinary entertainers throughout history.

Ah, the infamous “Under Wraps” tour that damaged Ian’s vocals pretty much beyond repair. This is a great video and great performance but you can definitely tell the high registers in TAAB (especially #Edit 8) were causing havoc to the old vocal cords. All that being said, it’s a brilliant arrangement and Pegg’s playing here is on fire.
