    Completely agree with your ranking. Even Roots to Branches gets a bit weak at the end. Speaking of Ian’s talk-singing, “Wounded, Old and Treacherous” is very Zappa in delivery. You can just hear him saying “Don’t make a fuss, just get on the bus!”

    There is also that weird request Frank made to speak to Ian Anderson while he was terminally ill , Ian never made the call Very rarely would I listen to Tull outside their classic period

    "Bland" is the perfect word for 'Zealot Gene', it is sadly, a very boring album. And because of that, I did not buy 'RokFlote', which remains the only JT album I do not own. Like you, I do not count the Christmas album. Cheers!
