Jet Ski Camping on FROZEN Lake Powell with a SeaDoo Explorer Pro!

In this episode I went overnight SeaDoo camping on Lake Powell and it was so cold, the lake was frozen! Myself and 6 other riders with Up Lake Adventures took out the new SeaDoo Explorer Pros, loaded full of camping gear and set off to complete over 300 miles of riding, from the southern most part of Lake Powell to the most northern. The temperature stayed around -7c / 20F most of the morning with a high of around 0c / 32F.

I've done lake Powell end to end a few times long time ago. There used to be two other marinas on the lake, so no fuel stops were needed.

Another stunning adventure Adam. It is a shame to see just how far gone lake Powell is due to the drought in the western US. But it does seem to be holding up much better than Lake Mead in NV. Now for the first time in the years since I've followed you on KZread I find myself questioning your sanity, Riding a Seadoo in 20 degree F Weather for the fun of it? It's been about 2 degrees F here in West Virginia for about a week and I can not get my dog to go outside to use the restroom and your playing on a lake like it's mid summer lol I will give you one thing you do find your everyday adventure. There truly are some stunning places in the USA. Lake Powell is definitely one of them. When Dan from "Whatsinside" lost his golden Apple watch that Casey Neistat made for him, he contacted "DALLMYD" ( Scuba Jake ) and he found it in that pond that is a bit separate from the main lake. And then, Zack from "JerryRigEverything" opened and cleaned it and it still works. All 3 made Videos about that and it beautifully shows the amazing Lake Powell, but in Summer.

You should try Pyramid Lake in Northern Nevada. It’s not nearly as beautiful as Lake Powell but it IS pretty cool!!

Quality video there Mr Swords! What an awesome location, that must be epic for photos. On the wrecks front, check out HeavyDSparks, he’s recovered a couple from in there including his own silly expensive carbon fibre boat that he managed to sink by not plugging the drains 🤦♂️ Thanks for sharing that awesome place from a different point of view to normal - Merry Xmas and happy new year from Wales

May need to get an engine tune update on your ski if they are actually able to run a bit faster and more fuel efficient since yours is a prototype. Yours may have an older test tune on it. Either way a good tune will definitely improve your horsepower as well as the fuel efficiency.

You should take them to Alaska and go round the mountains Also there is a channel called Cboystv. And they went through 8 inch ice on jet skis and it was fine this show how durable they are to a lot of things
