Hopefully martial arts at this level will not die out, that is some insane insane training. Hitting all those balls at that speed would be a feat if they were standing still, but all those targets are bouncing and moving and he is still hitting them at insane speeds with his feet and hands. This is insane

If there is one thing I have observed from watching martial arts movies, fighting documentaries, basic military training boxing kickboxing, Pro wrestling and MMA training films is that to be able to fight for real the 1st step body conditioning and stamina building. People forget that it doesn't matter how talented one is. all training and practice requires ones body be at a certain level of speed, strength, agility, endurance, stamina and sometimes flexibility for any fighting techniques to be effective. that's why you see most military and law enforcement undergo alot of Physical training before or during qualifying courses or in classic martial arts movies the protagonist is force to endure alot of strength and endurance exercise before the master could even begin to teach them the techniques. Professional fighters start with more basic exercise at their rookie stage then they learn to strike then learn blocking and dodging then they spare.

Jet Li is the shiznit, He is the real thing, No fakes. This guy's speed and accuracy is amazing. Plus he is studying Bua Gua and energy Art fighting style used to fend off 8 opponents at once. Usually they train by walking in a pattern around a tree and it take more than 15 years practice just to get the walking part down. Only 1 master exists for this art and its one of the craziest and hardest styles. He uses it at the End of the movie THE ONE..which shows its great representation.

Your knuckle bones gets sore and if they break they will become stronger as they're healing. You can see this through a x-ray, the highlighted yellow areas through a x-ray are the areas that were strengthen after the bones heal. Training like this had been done for thousands of years, beating your own body to the breaking point and letting it heal to strengthen it. Boxers, martial art fighters, and etc. It goes to show that what does kill you makes you stronger.

@EMDIESEL - Its a book of blank paper. Shaolin training does this as well. The paper keeps the hand from getting surface damage, yet allows very hard contact forces. This will densify & strengthen the internal bones, body structure, and tissues. An alternative is wall mounted sandbags, which have the same effects, without needing replacement like the paper targets.

I've never seen Jet Li enter a fighting competition before. What he enter are Wushu Championships, and trust me, he has NEVER lost. But that doesn't satisfy him, that's why he try to learn different style, like Tai chi and other kind of martial arts to enhance his techniques, if you watch the whole movie above. I once believe that Jet can act better than fight, but seeing this documentary, I've never had the same thought again. Just amazing!

jet li has never participated in an official fighting competition. but Jet li is a graduate of Shaolin and the Beijing Wushu Team. he must have studied and practiced Sanda/Sanshou. Sanda has sent many fighters and become a champion in Kickboxing and MMA. No need to practice any martial arts anymore if you learn Shaolin martial arts, Don Wilson has proven that he is a Pai Lum Tao practitioner of the Northern Shaolin style, he slaughtered all kickboxing fighters and the world kickboxing association crowned him as the greatest kickboxer in history with 11 times being world champion kickboxing. It's a different story if he has to fight in MMA maybe he needs additional training such as Shua Jiao/Chinese Wresler, Jiujitsu, Judo
