So issue is not the size of the wake…, but the emotion of each protagonist. Maybe we need a case study of boat speed vs perceived anger?

If you're worried about wake while pulled into a sand beach just stay at home, the more annoying thing is you and six other boats playing follow the leader

Note that no statement was made regarding wake worry, nor any statement regarding boat count nor proclivity to follow a leader.

Don't run a jet boat if you are concerned about being waked. Sometimes you cannot slow down without busting up your hull. Common courtesy on rivers USED to be coming off step meeting a boat going or coming BUT unless you can, its BETTER to go by at speed on plane , not slowing down.

Wake? Or awake? Or perceived apocalypse?

River/Jet boaters not the problem. For the most part they have experience and knowledge. Now take your average Joe with the general bow rider/ runabout boats or wake boats and talk about hazards.

The horror... Almost as bad as when some troller comes within 40 yards of my bobber....
