Getting ready to do the exact same thing to my jet boat , I'm going to be using a ford 532 bb on my build. Great job on yours !! post a video of it in the water i wanna hear that motor thumping lol

I used 3/4" plywood for the floors and 5/8" for the seat frames the measurements will be different my stringers are probably in a different depending on the motor mounts. I had to shave the edges of the stringers to match the hull and also the outside edges of the floor boards. Make sure all wood is sealed before you put back in boat I had 1 go bad in a year cuz I didn't seal a hole I drilled in it most of that time was under boat cover in driveway

Thanks again for the help. after I have epoxyed my 3/4 plywood and get ready to put it into my jet boat, and Fiberglass it in, what do I use to bond the new floor to the frame? SS screws? Liquid Nails? Ect

what kind of wood did you use for the stringers i have to do the same job in my 79 sleekcrat excutive 24ft 454BBC pantherjetdrive i plan to do this soon so please post sme more info for this vid

Did you have prints or plans you used to build the seat frames?? Or just wing it? I'm in the process of buying back a boat my dad sold on me 20 years ago and the new owner didn't take very good care of it and the interior rotted away completely and needs to be completely restored.

i did some research on the interweb for what i wanted to do and i just winged it based on the space that i had. i built the frames and had them finished at an upholstery shop

I have a 1975 Tahiti Tiger Jet 454 BBC. If my boat doesn't need stringers could I just repair the top floor bored??

Yes you can , but if you put fiberglass on existing fiberglass clean and ruff up the surface or it will not bond. It'll be ok until you hit a big wave....

Thanks. I know you're busy but do you have the exact length & width, specs of the plywood you was using? I'm redoing my Jet Boat Floor and watching your video will be helping me out a lot

How hard is it to do the stringers.

Not the worst thing ever, fiberglass is not fun but I would say the main thing is to measure a lot and when you install them make sure you make spacers for the engine mounts while the fiberglass cures so they can’t move
