The song samples Diddy's, Bad Boys, that was him as the cameo in the video and the sitting on the roof, playing golf and the Nicki part being in a white wall garage with the band were all references to Diddys original video. Great song and video, the video references made me like it even more given the sample. For some reason I also love Nickis actions during the "sporty or pretty" line 😅

I love you Brad, and I definitely think you can seperate the art from the artist, but some of these comments highlight some very valid points about Jesy's behaviour and the poor taste in getting Nicki to feature on a song about "bad boys" right now. If you found out a singer you stanned had been shady towards our LGBT family, I'm sure you'd be less than impressed, please don't ignore these complaints from the black community and other POC, simply because they do not affect you. And PS, I do think Jesy's vocals are slightly over edited and she's using a strange (almost Jamaican?) accent, but I do think the song is still good and better than LM's recent output.

I mean, Brad covers Doja cat, who used to think she could say F*ggot because she "thinks gay is okay". Now I don't agree with cancel culture, people should be given time and space to learn, but that was not that long ago and if any other artist he loves came out tomorrow saying some similar stuff, he'd probably be throwing shade in video. @@crystalchandelier22 That isn’t Jesy’s natural skin tone. Even with Nicki lightening her skin, they should be nowhere near the same shade. And I did say, it’s possible/okay to separate the art from the artist (I love Prince and he hates us gays lol), but I know if it came out tomorrow that an artists he covers said some shit he wouldn’t like it so it’s weird he doesn’t care. It’s also pretty much undebatable here, bc it’s not just the tan, it’s the aesthetic, the awful fetishising lyrics, her friendships w other white girls who love to say the N word and her disregard of Leigh’s struggles with race.
