Exactly. This is how people get deceived. They listen to a preacher telling them what the Bible says and never read it for themselves. They never pray and read for the Holy Spirit to reveal correct understanding. When some do, they read it like a man made novel instead of through the spirit and as a result they come up with different meanings.

Jesus didnt specifically destroy death- yes,we still physically die. It is " the last enemy that will be destroyed"(1 Cor 15:26). What He has done is conquered the fear of death. It is our greatest fear. 1 Cor 15:55 " Oh death where is your sting,O Hades,where is your victory". So in a sense one may say Jesus didnt conquer death,but He did say " it is finished". From the stance of Jesus, He has already defeated all things. Hope that helps. In Christ, we are not defeated,powerless and helpless- thats the main thing. ( words are such a curious thing, especially pertaining to spiritual matters. We must pray for the shepherds...some are sincere...just may get things wrong at times,I believe. And there seems to be so few genuine ones🥺😭).

Pastor Miz, I was recently introduced to your videos- and like much of what I've seen so far. I agree with most of what you have said here, but the beginning part has me. I have to say, I dont agree that Jesus became sin so He could go to hell. I believe it was only to preach there ( 1 Pet 3:18,19) and take the keys( authority) away from satan. I accept that it is a spiritual thing/ revelation. In the spiritual dimension He needed to visit hell,and how did He get there? From close observing of the events of the Cross, Jesus went from saying " My God,My God" back to " My Father". I do believe all His authority was restored by the time His body was taken off the Cross and put in the tomb. That the moment of sin being imputed to Him occurred in that period on the Cross of Luke 23: 44( that first moment of darkness). What I would say is that perhaps,the moment of saying " into Your hands I commit My Spirit" was probably that " visa" moment? The Power of the Trinity united in that visit to hell? Not that He needed to become sin,but He first needed to conquer sin? [Ps- perhaps we are both right?(And this is not for being argumentative. Just the search for deeper understanding). Perhaps Jesus experienced/" visited" hell in those moments on the Cross as 100% the Son of Man,but then went to hell as 100% the Son of God?]
