So then, according to this teaching, no one can know for sure that they will be saved. Our salvation hinges on our faithfulness, and we won't know until eternity that we remained faithful. How utterly depressing. That is NOT the gospel!!!!

I think you missed the point of this lesson entirely. We have hope as Christians because of what Christ did for us in sacrificing Himself and becoming that link between us and God. Pastor Mike explains that from 17:50 to around 20:00 in the video. We have confidence in where we're going (Heaven) because we follow and obey His Word....why is it depressing to you that remaining faithful to the END guarantees our ticket to eternal rest with our Saviour? I think that's the best news any human being on earth could ever hear, and of course, the main message of the gospel. Be careful not to fall into unbelief.

@carita7391 I certainly didn't miss the point. It's a very simple point .. salvation depends on your faithfulness to the end. No assurance of salvation until you take your last breath, knowing you remained faithful. Truly terrifying to think my salvation lies in my ability to be faithful. I'm thankful though that Jesus is my salvation and He will remain faithful 🙏

Where in the Bible does it say that the sabbath was done away with? If YAHAWAH has established it as an ever lasting sign?

A sign to His people the Jews. They lived under a theocratic system where there was actually a penalty for not obeying it. The 4th commandment is the only one that we as N.T. believers are not instructed to follow. This commandment has no ethical morality to it, It was symbolic for the rest that we enter into thru Christ. If you feel like following this commandment that is fine just don't judge other who do not. And do not think you are obligated. Matt. 12:1-8, Rom. 14:1-13, Gal. 4:9-10, Col. 2:16-17, Acts 20:7, Rev.: 1:10, ! Cor. 16:2. It's ok to disagree on this topic it's not a essential doctrine.

I'm following your study but I am not in agreement with you about the Sabbath. Because in revelation it said, ( here are they which keep the commandments and having the testimony of Jesus Christ) so what about the ten commandments? Is it not valid today? Is the ten commandments abolished? We are in problem. Every word of God is essential today. People even some Christians are still rebellious. Talk about disobedience😔

If you listen to this whole series, you’ll understand more about the Sabbath and the OT covenant. He addresses it in 7-10. ‘By calling this covenant new, he has made the first one obsolete, and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear.’ it disappeared on the cross, but in physical terms, in AD 70. That Old Covenant with is rules and regulations and Sabbath keeping is gone. It’s obsolete. Not to say there aren’t good lessons to learn, but we are NOT bound by it any longer. Praise Jesus!! Col 2 says ‘do not let anyone judge you with regard...sabbath day...these are only a shadow of the good things that coming, not the realities themselves.’ If you want the shadow, you can have it, I’ll take the real thing...
