Great interview. I was lucky enough to get in on the pre order for the Xmid 2 pro. Really excited for it. Love learning more about the birth of this idea and wow…can’t wait to get it! Such a cool dude too

Great snag on getting a Pro! I was in the same boat having a heart attack on the release day when the website crashed for a bit. All worked out though. Dan is of the highest caliber. Just a gear head's gear head making some awesome products. Thanks for watching!

I’m waiting for my X Mid. I’m super interested in the polyester. However, in my experience from 3D printing. Nylon is quite a bit stronger. Nylon absorbs water like a sponge, but my printed nylon parts that have absorbed significant amounts of water still seem stronger than PETG. Polyester also absorbs water. It is not nearly bad as nylon, but it is definitely noticeable. With that being said I find myself using poly much more than nylon. It’s strong enough, and significantly easier to print. Some great info in this podcast. Thanks!

I love how Dan said he sort of became am ambassador for poly 😂 I think he'd agree with you on your statements but he also pointed out the fabric coatings can be just as important. Either way, he created a rock solid tent we can all enjoy. Thanks for watching!
