And He, behind all things, the Great FIrst Mover, Creator, Designer, every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father of Lights, in whom is no darkness at all, but who inhabits Eternity and dwells in a the light that no man can approach. But HE has become EMMANUEL. God With Us. We could never, as created beings, forever bound in time and space exist where He is, touch Him, stand on the ground before him, so He came down to us in the very form of the creature He created, to dwell among us, His children.

Funny enough Madame Norman would disagree and mention God as a crucial staple from her childhood.

God is at least an expression of being human. Our freedom resides on the contingent.

Diva...
She was to Opera as Patti LaBelle is to R&B.
@menahemb on the other hand this video is , as the title suggests, about Jessey Norman singing "Morgen" and not about the violin solo part in it
Mio amore Jessye Norman
Extraordinary how she can achieve such intimacy in this over-blown setting. But she does. A classic worthy to stand beside the rightly famous version of Schwarzkopf.
Goodbye Great Diva...
