Può fare quello che vuole...la sua voce...convince....e questo levare peso specifico e timbro ...fino all'essenza della parola...,.ad ,una canzone che Lei ha sempre cantato come un baleno che trapassa il velo della conoscenza amorosa ...qui la fa riposare sul Crepuscolo di una Carriera luminosissima e ...irripetibile; splendido il pianista Mark Markham .Ho amato moltissimo la sua versione classica...ma preferisco questa...là era l'artista somma ...qui la Donna che è se stessa fino nel più profondo del suo spirito. Chapeau!Grazie a Gabriel Ishimaru che ha postato e condiviso questa meraviglia...

Jessye Norman, peut-être l'une des grandes voix du XXe siècle, n'était plus ici à son meilleur moment vocal, cependant, son art d'interprétation avait atteint son apogée, et on peut le voir dans cette vidéo. Il nous livre l'une de ses performances les plus abouties de sa vie. Indélébile et éternel. Merci Jessye Norman pour tant de choses, pour tout.

What exactly happened to her for her to sustain a spinal cord inury?

@vmp671990 I keep trying to find out what happened and I get no answers. I guess she did not want what happened to her disclosed. In all the interviews she had done in her wheel chair, her injury was never disclosed.

@@leerhode1021 she had a surgery that did not go well and it basically complicated things. She never fully recovered. I remember my company had her in a wheelchair van 2x. The dates were quite far apart and my heart ached that she hadn't recovered.
