Because she is not selling her heart and soul to the evil industry. There are hundreds of amazing talented, real singers who are not interetsed in fame and money. She's an artist and she does amazing muzic and the fact that she has already created amazing flowing that in itself is a success. I would hate to hear her on a mainstream.

I am so glad that I found Jessie Ware during the pandemic. Her album 'What's your Pleasure' was the best album I had heard in years. It is now a firm favorite and I now I have a back catalogue to enjoy as well.

2020, I got a crush on jessie ware for this song lol

I had never heard of Jessie until last night. Not big into popular music per se as I am very, very old and lived through the Beatles, Roxy Music, David Bowie and on and on. But last night I was watching the "Alternative Music" show on Much TV in Toronto and on came this amazing lady. A beautiful voice from a beautiful women. (Best eyebrows on the planet). I love it when I discover something new and I am a convert. Thank you.

You know what truly amazes me about this woman is that she can sing this song flawlessly...LIVE! Most artist fumble and screw up high notes live, but Jessie blows through them and sounds EXACTLY THE SAME live, which is just stunning and a WELCOMED CHANGE from what you typically see now a days.

Her music just takes me somewhere else

I've seen a few comments about the "meaning" or "interpretation" of the video and it's funny because ever since I first discovered it a week ago, it was so visually arresting and I love it so much that I've been wondering ever since how the visuals play into the lyrics of the song. I think what's being conveyed is that being without a love you really truly want is debilitating. We visit doctors offices when we are broken, not completely whole, and only a fraction of our normal selves and we want to be whole again. That's how it feels when you are without the one you deeply love, there is a waiting, and a yearning to be put back together. Don't you feel complete and like all is well and right with the world when you are in love? I find it to be such a beautiful but deeply sad song and video but in such a good way.

This song & this woman’s talent, Jessie I love you & now eventually so does everybody else I hope . Keep going my Queen don’t ever give up your musical talent because it is amazing. A totally mind blowing voice that does not get the recognition it deserves

To me the best thing about Jessie Ware is that she's everywhere and nowhere at the same time. She's had two albums, big collaborations with Disclosure and Nicki Minaj (which was uncredited), a couple of big hits, songwriting credits, a spot on the Band Aid single and the 50 Shades soundtrack and more projects, and yet as an artist she's still a relative unknown. I think that's a great place to be; she still has complete creative control and she has the opportunity to dabble with these really huge projects and artists, and yet she's still many people's little secret. How she's pulled this off I have no idea, but I hope she keeps on doing what she's doing. Even if this video is a blatant rip-off of La Roux.
