It remains as a favourite. When I rewatched this film through my MGM subscription, I loved it so much. I found this movie way better than The Perfect Man and Just My Luck.

Especially since Britanny died at the age of 32. Such a beautiful person.

My dad used to sing me this every night before he left for Afghanistan, he recorded himself singing this and sent it to me so I could listen to it forever. He died 1 week later

this is my childhood movie. I can't even tell you how many times I've watched it. I used to live with my mom in a place where there was not a lot of cell service so I watched this. I would actually watch it up to 3 times every day sometimes. Just to have background noise when I was doing anything. One of my favorite films of all time.

Never knew a song could make me so happy and so sad at the same time! rip to a beautiful soul 👼

One of the most beautiful movie songs ever.

I remember listening to this when my dad was a truck driver, I cried once while listening. Unaware he would abandon me and my mom, I think of this as a reminder I did nothing wrong . It breaks my heart to think he changed so much. I feel for all the boys and girls who don’t see their dad, I haven’t seen mine in a year and I feel broken . To all those kids who still have their dads, cherish them forever... 😊 they are supposed to be examples and role models for their children, my dad taught me I can’t trust anyone ... not even him.

I feel your pain, but i also wanted to share a different point of view. It's popular belief that your parents are the ones that are supposed to be there for their young, but what if he is the one that needs rescuing? And God put you in this world and in his life because you were your father's keeper? I know plenty of adults who were saved from falling into darkness by their own children who do not quit on the parent and will not accept any rejection of feeling there of... It's a hard concept to think about but "we" as young children don't understand how truly powerful we can be by simply loving hard

@@maxbenitez3391 I understand your point of view, I’ve been in contact with my dad for a few months after blocking and removing his number from my phone. It pains me to say I will more than likely never trust my dad ever again after how he hurt and lied both my mom and I. He lied to us and made my mom believe she was the reason their marriage fell apart while he was working, in all reality it was because of his home wrecker (his friend’s wife).

Different point of view thanx ti mybexwife i can't see my girls anymore i fought for them for 4 years in the end i lost breaks my heart their were no they are all my world i just need to keep string ask to God to always watch over them and take care of them and keep the hope that one day when they grow to look for me i can't understand the guy abandoned their kids that way if thinking doesn't exist in my head or my heart

My best friend of 42 years died of endometrial cancer on April 8, 2020, at age 51. Her name is Molly. I always thought of her when I heard this song. Now it makes me cry instead of smile.

I remember after I watched Uptown Girls, this song got stuck in my head. It's such a sweet song.

Beautiful song, lyrics and music are excellent, I also feel like crying when I listen to it.

Everyone has a type of emotional connection with the movie and this soundtrack i sadly have no more to say than this soundtrack is one of the most underrated movie songs ever, its composition, lyrics and melody are top notch, always a fan since the first time i heard it

It’s a sad and feel good movie. In the ending, it’s special how Molly shares her intimacy about her parents’ deaths and how Ray talks about her dad dying. I feel sorry for Ray as her mother cared more about herself and she neglected her. Not fond of Roma at all

I listen so I can still feel him when he's not here anymore to sing to me. Not having technology to record his voice is the hardest reality to face after 11 years. Miss you every day, dad.
