When my brother sent me a link to this concert a few months ago and insisted I check it out, I had no idea what a miracle I would find here. This was an unexpected discovery for me! I was even more excited when I got the chance to see him live a few weeks later when (luckily for me!) Jesse Cook was performing in Europe. Without hesitation, I went to Wroclaw, which is one and a half thousand km away, through Lithuania and Poland - to listen to the best guitarist in the world. But I was even more surprised and impressed when I listened to his music videos. Then I thought - after all, this is modern Bach... Now I listen to his songs every day, trying to feel the mystical spirit of folk music of all nations. I bow to the genius of Jesse Cook, thanking him and fate for the best music of all time. These are transcendent creations that I admire and adore! Thanks, Jesse Cook!

I couldnt agree w you more. Because of this comment, I checked his tour schedule. By a great coincidence or my guardian angel's directions, I found out that he is performing tomorrow in the next county over, about a 45 minute drive. Thank you for your comment which instigated what will be a marvel to my ears tomorrow. I showed 2 girlfriends your comment. They are coming with me!

It is the Mozart of the 21st Century.

I saw Jesse at Convocation Hall in Toronto Canada in December. It was two days after my birthday. Jesse and his band stayed at the back signing autographs and having his photos taken. They didnt leave till everyone was taken care of. He is a legend. Best birthday present. Now I wish I could see him again in concert. note. not this past December,,way back,,

I was at this concert too! Amazing performance from Jesse and the entire band. If I recall correctly, it was a snowy night when we left that magic night... after all those signings he did. Massey Hall was another amazing venue he played... again, if memory serves me correctly he did an unplugged for his finale as a tribute to his late father who took him there as a kid to see one lf his heroes back in the day. ❤

Great concert,great music

There is no end to Jesse’s creativity, always something “out of the Blue”. He goes and goes. it’s as if his mind never stops. An amazing human in his own right. I am excited to see what’s around the next corner. Phenominal,no doubt!

Discovered you over 20 years ago, bought your CDs the, lost in the move from DC, only to rediscover them in a CD pack some 10 years later, only working two jobs, never time to play. This appeared Christmas Day evening courtesy of popping up on a selection of Spanish Flamenco music on KZread. The fates have blessed me! I rediscovered Jesse Cook again, found Additional music he recorded over the years. Wonderful Christmas gift from Fates and God. It speaks, resonates within my soul! Time to relocate those CDs before I buy more.

Me too. Came across him while I lived in DC. Lost my CDs in the move, they ditched the last jazz station where you occasionally heard Jesse Cook, and then by chance I plugged into a Spanish flamenco guitar theme and voila, there he was! I’m so excited to have found him again.

Perhaps my favorite video, performance, energy level, passion for the music and music collection anywhere. This is the purest form of music and exemplifies that music is what feelings sound like. Went out to see if this was available on vinyl, but alas only on dvd. It will be my only dvd. Oh to have been there!

Gawd...I want heart emoji this so bad. I'm 36 and remember (with shame) downloading Jesse Cook songs on my computer in high school. His music has been sooo much of a benefit to me and is so uplifting and has always been able to get me out of bad spots. It almost brings tears to think about some of those times. It's just so good and I wish Mr. Cook knew how much he brings to some of us. I'm now in a decent enough spot to look for legit ways to support him seeing as how he's done so much for me without ever knowing it. Love the music and the man. I had the privilege to see you at the concert in Banff, Alberta, and then, at the Juvenile Auditorium at the University of Alberta. Both of those concerts were so mind blowing beautiful.
