No petrol car should have a straight pipe imo. Sport cat and a sport muffler/resonator is the way to go if i had one. Having a diesel, i have the stock back box wich is essentially straight trough, sounds nice and not obnoxious. The golf having the cat still, has a nice tone, not whistly and stupid raspy

@Coops95 really sorry to hear that, I'll be completely honest with you here the amount of messages I get is relentless. Emails,Facebook, Instagram, constant phone calls all day everyday, people coming to see me at the shop all day everyday it's mega difficult to actually get any work done and spend time with my missus and kids at night and keep up with them all so as a result unfortunately some do get missed sadly

i did same to 1.4 TSI CZC and its sounds similar xD i mean its too fucking loud ;p

never understood why people get straight piped exhausts especially on these mqb cars, the turbos rely on some back pressure, without any theyre harder to tune and much more prone to failing.

This still had the cat in back pressure is no issue for this one. Decats can make these harder to tune I agree. It will also have a resonator back in very shortly anyways just as I predicted 🤣

Hi!

Excellent fab work but straight pipes do not sound good at all. There is way too much rasp, volume and unwanted frequencies. People do this as it’s cheaper than a properly designed silenced exhausted but it won’t be long before he wishes he has a resonator.
