It was amazing because she could completely let go of the time without wrecking the other two who are so tight. Most drummers don't do this because when they do things fall apart. Not chaos at all just unusual.

I just say this because I'm producing a commercial for the John Coletrain Jazz and Blues Fest in Greensboro Labor Day Weekend 2024. Jesus, was just added to the show and I had to add his music. Phenomenal group. Shades of Chick Corea. Drummer has Lenny White attack. She is very dynamic. Sky's the limit for this trio.

The bassist is beating the s¡ht out of the strings, and it's only noticeable in the transition to the drum solo hahahahaha I love it

My favourite jazz instrumental. Really fresh interpretation. Fabulous work. Love pianist the way he's really enjoying it interacting with his colleagues. So expressive. People are at their best when performing music or rescuing animals. My humble opinion.

I love when jazz drummers have this massive old beasts of cymbals. They have such glorious dynamics

All of them are phenomenal . Impressive piano . Bass is killing it and drums is so on point . Amazing chops. And give it up to the sound engineer. Wow what a sound!

I wonder about the few people who gave thumb down. Do have they ears ? It's accurate, not already listened, fast, powerful. It's the music I love. Thank you, Jesus and your fellow musicians ! 😀

Started listening to jazz in the 50's. I was 6 or 7. So lucky to grow up during that whole time and hear the greats!!! This brings back tons of memories.

Its pure joy: what a trio - each their own strength in this arrangement.

Really cool take on this. I’ve always loved Dizzy Gillespie and Arturo Sandoval’s live rendition of this song. I first heard it in High School; it was my introduction to Sandoval, and I’ve been a huge fan of his ever since... Also a huge fan of Molina as well, obviously; how can you not be mesmerized by his playing?
