Bobby Brady that’s flawed logic. You can’t just tune in and out of a Seinfeld episode and understand all of it. You’d be missing most of the jokes. Also, people don’t just pick up a show, Game of Thrones for example, and start in the middle of season 3. People watch it in chronologic order over the span of years. Of course assuming people don’t just binge watch a large show like that in the shortest amount of time.

Bobby Brady I’m arguing the other side of the coin genius. You’re the one who needs to work on your reading comprehension. The opposite of watching a sitcom where you can pick up wherever would be watching a long running story that requires investment, no? Jerry is saying he doesn’t have time to waste investing in a story but it’s not time wasted if the “90 hours” of watched television spans half a decade. The key to his argument is time.

Went to high school with Phil Swift. I never laughed so hard as I did when I first saw Phil hawking that stuff. He hasn't changed at all

Jerry Seinfeld mentions the same exact point, and in great detail, on how you don't use superlatives when introducing a comedian. Seinfeld is just funny. I mean he is just naturally funny. His personality genuinely makes me laugh.😂😂😂

What makes him one of the greatest is the strategy of it all... He spent so much time talking about how he doesn't have a show, that when he finally gets to the infomercial stuff, we appreciate it more. If he had just went straight into when asked, it wouldn't have been as funny or believable.

The Seinfeld haters here just go to prove Jerry’s point. Comedians are not genetically funny to everyone. Jerry’s got a New York sense of humor. Not everybody gets it. Especially folks who don’t know much about New Yorkers. Complaining is part of the daily social fabric for many New Yorkers. It’s a way of pointing out things people don’t think about, until you’ve thought about it and then realized how odd it is, and now you have to share the thought.
