David shows the superb performer he became after being nurtured at a young age by musical family including his dad.

Glad David made peace with his dad, towards the end of his life, I think they were 2 tortured souls, one wanting tremendous success, and one loosing himself in it, rather sad, cause both of them were extremely talented

From what I've seen, that sadly never happened. They didn't speak for the last couple years of his dad's life

lisamarie sanchez I know that, but David was starting to sing his fathers songs, etc, they didn't make peace while Jack was alive, but maybe David started to understand what Jack meant, by hating the business that turned his father into a guest star, whom was talented beyond most stars of the screen, just Jack was theatrical, and became passé in a moments notice

Jerry's final MDA Telethon was in 2011. I believe that this was sometime after 2005. David's voice was still quite pure.
