I really enjoyed this. I have never seen Jerry Lewis bowl before. He bowled a good game. He got more strikes than I would have got if I was bowling. Jerry is such a cutie!

OhioGirl1973, I agree with you! He was such a cute, handsome, and sweet guy! He was so multi talented really! He could act, direct, write, sing, dance, play instruments, play all kinds of sports!!! What a guy! I really wish he was still alive ! He helped the world so much with his beautiful soul, his kindness, and his talent! He was a genius with deep soulful eyes! He put his heart in everything that he did. Gave so much to others and suffered terrible pain throughout his life. I love him so so much and I hope he knows that! I hope he knows how much his fans and all of the people he helped love him!

Jerry bowled a few years earlier on Paul Krunske's TV show with the same host the "tenpin tattler" - It was in a Polk Bros. clothes store in Chicago. Jerry was very funny then too! I may put that video on KZread one of these days. 30 years after this video my band played for Sam Weinsteins retirement party - Sam is the announcer on this show otherwise known as The Tenpin Tattler!

I remember seeing this back in the early 1960's. It was at our Junior Bowling end of year party. Someone had it on the old fashioned Projector reel, and they set up a screen for all us kids to watch it. I always remembered it and so glad to see it once again close to 60 years later.

Who else remembers the Bowling show from the late 60s and 70s called bowling for dollars? You would send your name in on a postcard and the host would pick a name from the barrel. The the bowling contestants would bowl and the winner would win money. Whatever the winner won the persons name picked from the barrel would win the same amount.

SOLISDEUS, I agree with you! He was a great talent! Jerry was a tortured soul. He was actually a wonderful human being! However, he was extremely emotional and traumatized and felt things very deeply, therefore, he dismissed people who couldn't understand him or that hurt him in some way. He was very creative, profound, talented, extremely intelligent, and intuitive. He was a genius! Geniuses are often misunderstood and live in their own world. People whom criticize him a lot and write many unkind comments towards him are people who don't look closely enough, who do not go deeper. We are human beings and obviously flawed so was Jerry. He gave the world a lot, but he was easily hurt. His narcissism was a cover up for his insecurities and fears. He wasn't perfect! Judging others is a very mean and unkind thing to do when you don't know them or didn't live their life. :(

@@user-oi2yk9yi4y when the local news was there he did his same old act like he does on interviews. I lived next door to Donna Soots who had MD. She was the first person to graduate high school. She was so sweet but had a hard life. Both her parents were big shots at schiltz beer. Because of Donna Jerry was trying to get money from them. I loved his movies but from interviews and stuff I’ve learned he wasn’t a nice guy. He screwed around on his wife and this lady had a dna test and proved Jerry was her dad. She lives on the streets. And he didn’t leave anything to his first wife’s kids. I don’t know him but in my opinion he was a jerk. A funny jerk. My area news started doing concerts at Christmas and you brought canned items. All I know is something happened.
