What a fascinating and sorrowful clip. I'd heard Jerry Lewis speak of his friendship with the Kennedys often. Such a particular and wrenching moment in time. Jerry is very good here, at a time when his career was not as vibrant, but you can hear his affection and respect for Robert Kennedy. And to know we lost him just four days after this is beyond tragic. What a loss for our country. After the murder of MLK just a few months before, our country, already damaged forever by the assassination of JFK, was finished off in its idealism by RFK's murder. We've never been the same since. And probably will never be again.

It's the first time I've seen him with a red handkerchief in his pocket ...

Is this by chance from the 1978 film THE LAST CAMPAIGN by Barbara Frank?
