You don’t have to miss it, cause it’s always on KZread and in your heart. More correctly, “in” your brain cells for as long as those work & you find Jerry useful to your happiness - we are our brain and our brain is us - but that’s less groovy maybe. If trump liked music I’d play this for his sorry ass as he fucked off out of the White House and back to the intellectual cesspool he and his call home. Peace love and waterbeds
His solo has it all. Despair, sweet sorrow and a moment of clarity
The best there ever was, Jerry Garcia. Thank you, for a real good time.
Jerry, the maestro of sadness. We love how you make us weep.

The Tiger is roaring in this one. Bleeding raw emotions, transmitting them straight to your soul. Epic.
fucking perfection. Jerry understood and embraced all types of music except for one. the shitty kind.

To be honest not a huge fan of Johns playing, very lumpy and uncoordinated solos
The bristles of his broom sweep the floor like a music box, delicate and clean...Kung fu mastery
Still jamming, the music endures

Jerry will forever be missed . The magical man thru his beautiful music that hits every emotion there is . MnL U
It's a lovely song to start with, but this is something else again. (And I'm a big Dylan fan.) Great to be able to watch Jerry play it.
I Cry with Pleasure
When I want to experience an emotional performance I turn to this Simple twist of fate. Does it every time.
Wow Jerry is so amazing
The riffs went on an on that night. What a masterpiece of a show. I'm Glad somebody taped it. Wonderful show
A real treasure of a vid
I consider this the definitive version.
Best cover of Bob Dylan ever done. Ever done.
Jerry will forever be missed . MnLY
He's smiling.....I'm melting.
NOT, watering down Jerry's performance to even a drop. The eight minutes solo, wow! It's probably the best I've ever came by. Yet WHO was killing it on the bass? "

Johnny d'Fonseca jr. on drums. He was only about 20 years old at the time. Garcia gave him his shot and he held his own. Sadly, he died in auto accident shortly after this. He's the drummer on the infamous After Midnight>Eleanor Rigby jam from 2/2/80
You know Jerry's well loved because ads keep popping up in his videos. That John Kahn bass.

Something about this song, JGB and Tiger....just seems that Jerry opened 'the window' a little wider with that combination.
anyone know what synth ozzie is playin :) . musta been a firtune to buy that thing in 1980.........
I know Robby approves. I'm sure Bob does. We sure did, up and down the Coast!
What I can't figure out is how sounds much better when he plays with other bands instead of the Dead. But it is undeniable that he did.Maybe it is psychological. O

I think the pressure of his fans treating him like the god he didn't want to be was a terrible influence on him. But when you listen to perfomances like this, it's not hard to understand why people would have such religious like experiences.
