I am a old vet...When I listen to Jerry stories it puts a smile one my face...

I miss Jerry so much and I will never forget him

Rev Jim Bakker once had Jerry Clower as a special guest on the PTL Club television show. They were on a stage outside in the summertime and Jerry Clower told Jim Bakker, "It's hotter than a buffalo in a log, drinking corn whisky!"

Well I wouldn't have woke him up either! Especially, if someone told me that it takes 8 cups of coffee and an hour for them to get going in the morning. Also, that they tend to bite folks in the process! I probably would have just told the conductor to speed the train up, and then got the crew to help me throw him out the door as it's passing through Winona! He would've been wide awake real quick after that!

I'm proud to say that I was raised in the MS delta (Yazoo Co).Please don't try to pronounce it. Met Mr Clower, very nice funny man.

My great grandparents were raised in Amite County. Centreville and Woodville Mississippi....👍🏾😊
