Just rewatched The Wire. I cry every time for Dookie at the end. Incredible Job 😊

today I finished The wire. never saw the series before. The scene with Bug and Mike is by far one of the saddest scenes Ive ever seen, maybe the saddest

Wonderful interview. I really loved the Duquan character. I rooted for him so hard during that show. Jermaine Crawford did an incredible job playing the character.

I get so wrapped up in his character that seeing the actor in these interviews makes me feel so good to know he's okay haha. In fact all 4 of the main kids and many other wire actors did a zoom session a couple years ago that's posted on youtube and it's so cool to see all of them and how friendly they still are.

I’m from Atlanta but now I’m here in Colorado. I grew up with a “Dukie” type way back and when I came back to the A bruh went from being a drug addict to becoming a millionaire. So the dukie’s out there can be somebody big in life.

He was so good at playing Dukie, that you can't even imagine him playing Michael

This guy broke my heart man. The ending for dookie was just brutal man. I haven't felt this bad for a tv character since Gary in The Corner.

The Wire actually took me too fast and broke my heart in the end. In the beginning Season 1 obviously. (Avon & Stringer) I believed I loved the bad guys! But by Season 5 I was heartbroken and in tears. Especially the last 15 minutes of the last episode. Daquan character hurt me so hard. I’ll never watch this show ever again. Everyday since August 2018 of me binge watching this show. I’m reminded on a daily of this show. It actually has given me a new and better outlook on my life as well as my kids and community. The government is so corrupt. I have hate in my heart towards those ticks. They’re the real bad guys in controlling our minds.

Yea that look dukie had going into that den when Michael left that shit was heartbreaking I had to remind myself this shit was just a show

Jermaine's character is the hardest to watch... I swear I was just like him growing up but my environment wasn't NEARLY as unforgiving as what was portrayed.

I couldn’t picture him being Micheal he did a really great job as Dukie. I relate to him because my best friend from my old neighborhood went down the same path and he died 3 years later.

I didnt prepare myself to have seen Dukie that way ..I would have taken Dukie under my wings. I was 😭😭😭😭😭😭 literally sobbing at the very end to have seen Dukie that way and cried for days .. WHY? Its just a show, LOL..you moved me so hard and so much, I cried for days..my goodness! You are the best actor in the show. We love you, Dukie.! 💖💖 You and Bubbles are my heroes💪💗YOU on the other hand have always been my favorite. You possess my son's demeanor- quiet, book smart, respectful, gentle and kind with a good soul. You have grown such a beautiful matured young man. They picked an excellent actor to play Dukie's character.💖💖🥉💪👌💖💖👏💖💖

Dukie was the reason i stopped watching the Wire. My heart broke seeing any scene with him in it. It shows how the Wire affected us. Great tv show.

Why is this man so surprised that a child would not be watching The Wire?

I’m watching the wire for the second time around and I just hit season 4. Duquan’s character brings me so much sadness because of the hand he was dealt in life. Mad props to the actors who played him. Did a hellava good job

I finished watching the series last night, and couldn't stop thinking about Dukie. The Dukie character, more than any other character in The Wire, broke my heart. He had so much potential. The scene where he lies to Mr. Prezbo for $200, smiling like that, killed me.

nice to see this young man after how that show portrayed him especially in the final season

Especially for a kid! It being a difficult role. I’m watching season 4 right now, for the 3rd time… One of my favorite shows so great!!! 😊🙌🏼 Dukie stole my ❤️ and really tugged on my heart strings…. And the fact that he ends up an addict is just so tragic… He was such an empathetic character.

Its so sad the scene where they throw waterbaloons full of piss and Dukie asks Micheal and he said he don't remember was so sad. Proves how much that meant to Dukie vs Micheal.

Duquan was one of the most redeemable characters tees in the show.

He was magnificent as Duquan. Hope he gets mainstream success he deserves.

One of the best interviews for the wire online. He basically asked over and over “so did you take that scene personally?” Bc the scenes were so real that us viewers still can’t believe the actors didn’t feel some of it
