Some bread is actually pretty flavorful. I made rye bread a couple years ago and with honey on it, it was the best bread I've ever had. Wouldn't use it to make a sandwich though.

Shame they used to be actually delicious but were continuously bred for looks than flavor. Apples are honestly a terrible fruit, in part by the fact they need to be cloned to get good fruit. Apples will naturally create terrible fruit that are different from the one the seed came from, in the plant's attempt for consistent genetic diversity. I like plums and peaches better.
