Jerma would totally be a b-tier superhero in the “The Boys” universe. He’d be this huge jokester who tries to liven people’s days up, but accidentally causes a mass murder scene and runs away embarrassed and laughing at the unintended carnage he just caused.

The funniest part is I'm pretty sure that canonically he doesn't make lasers with his eyes, his eyes are portals to a dimension that is completely full of laser.

Storm can control weather and create effects, Wolverine has an unbreakable skeleton and impossibly fast regeneration, Professor Xavier has telepathy and mind control, Jean Grey has telekinesis (and a bunch of other stuff too honestly), Kitty Pride can go through walls, Colossus can turn into a nearly invulnerable metal, Nightcrawler can teleport... And that's only including X-Men _members,_ not just characters IN the X-Men comics. Jerma chose the ONLY CHARACTER whose powers can't be used in any other way besides violence AND whose powers ACTIVELY RUIN one of your major senses.

@@Metallijosh100 I think Rogue IS undoubtedly worse just because she could kill anyone she touched with a near brief "graze" of her skin. At least with Cyclops, you could just wear those ruby glasses. Also, I think potentially Cyclops's inability to stop using his eye lasers might have been a psychic block of his own doing, unintentionally so, due to some kind of trauma he had as a kid. I'm just genuinely baffled that Jerma chose one of the most useless powers, as Rogue can at least "drain life" and invigorate you.

Not to be that guy, but Cyclops powers are sick as fuck from what I remember! If I remember correctly, his eyes are basically portals to a dimension of infinite energy that he technically *could* turn off if not for a mild case of skydiving related brain damage. Considering how low-octane most people live these days, a healing factor or super strength would be cool but kind of unnecessary; and it’s not like it’s gonna kick in when my back hurts from sitting funny. Instead, in terms of just cool shit to be able to do I think Cyclops (sans brain damage) is honestly pretty high, with some of the least built in caveats! (Looking at Nightcrawler and his Rotten egg smell) …It’s still pretty psychotic that he didn’t pick Mystique though considering that entertaining is literally his lifeblood and making faces and voices is kind of his bread and butter…

I've thought about this, and I reckon the best super power to possess would be the ability to cause immediate and catastrophic loss of bowel control in people. Imagine the possibilities, criminals stopped dead in their tracks, as everything they sought to do _instantly_ has to take a back seat because they're unwittingly taking the biggest dump of their lives.

Cyclops actually has a really cool power because it's not just beams, he can control them EXTREMELY precisely. Like punch a hole the size of a pin through a penny precise.

Wolverine’s power would be the most useful if you plan on having a pretty regular life. You can’t get sick, you can’t really get hurt, you can drink an infinite number of pepsi’s without feeling your arteries clogging, and if we’re counting the indestructible metal skeleton, can’t be killed either. If you wanted to live a abnormal life, my pick would be quicksilver. Nothing beats moving so fast the world appears still.

realistically the only x-men with a power that would be genuinely useful in day-to-day life would be armor. you can never get hurt and you would never have body odor, and you'd be way stronger so you could do things you'd normally struggle with much easier
