God, i hope that wasnt REALLY expensive...lol. From what I hear, you can easily blast past the cost of the instrument by having to do refurb stuff. I can't think of many other instruments where that is a serious issue.
Thanks friend, I will buy it, you have the best description
Cool review and very funny! I'll keep that sax on the short list
That's one hot piece of brass. OK, I'm sold.
Nice video. My new favorite of your gear reviews

Wow you're awesome. I love my Yas 23 from ebay for $400 in great condition but a lil scratchy.
Great review 😂
I use this sax model. Got it for $450 a couple years ago. Needed some serious repairs. Cost about $300. $750 ain’t too bad. It was worth maintaining. I’m not very good yet, but I really enjoy the instrument. I have come to realize how much i want a high f sharp key though. It’s standard on horns now 😓
What editing software do you use for all your videos. I like it.
Thanks for reviewing the model yas23 and not giving us beginner information
HEY GUYS , I BOUGHT MY YAS 23 AT SAM ASH IN MARGATE . PAID $ 450 and put a Runyon mouthpiece on it with a fiber cell reed and ill match it against any other alto saxophone ..the Japanese made some great horns when the first started making these Saxophones . love mine ..
That was great
Hey you good youblow that horn nice.
I love ❤😘 this 🎥 it made me laugh and enjoy watching this video it didn't want to make me skip any part of the 🎥
you did better than me , , i bought it for 450 dollars from sam ash in tamarac florida but it plays great ... good rich sound that cuts thru like an alto should playing lead .. i use a Runyon mouth piece with Fiber cell reeds . blows away anyone .. bobby G...
Pretty fun dude bro keep it up

I play an odd Vito YAS-21 from 1974 that has a few features found on later iterations of the student Yamaha horns. It also has real mother of pearl key touches. I have 2 students that play the 200AD Advantage series, and I've played on both of them. I can see the differences, and can recite a half dozen changes made to the 200AD. Playing them? They feel and respond exactly the same. If I were blindfolded, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The 200AD is a great horn, as are all Yamaha saxophones. They do seem to use a cheaper felt on the bumper material, so you may have to get that replaced after 2 years or so of steady use. It's an easy and cheap repair.
Very good video , im so enjoy it in this 6:21 , thanks :)

I'm debating between the YAS 23 and the 200AD, how do you feel about yours?
you may need to fix the audio. I got the computer and external speaker at full blast and still can barely hear anything
Bro youre a freakin HOOT
Hoping to get my hands on a reasonably priced one of these...maybe I'll get one for a steal like a Strat i got once for 250 (US made worth about 6) I can see you can play but it bugs me to see anyone sitting at drums and not have even basic skill at it. I can play drums. Trust me. Not brain surgery. :) You have a lot of good things to say, but yeah, constant edits are annoying as mentioned here.
Dude I love this guy lol I think the 1 dislike is just a bum
Do they really make yas 23 in china?
5:26 what song is that?

Hi There give to me im worth it
i have one but i am doing rent to own with the company that my school buys from for $95 a month.
Wish it had a high f sharp key I hate the color of the horn looks cheap with the silver and brass

eh I thought the silver made it cooler, definitely looks a little better than a sax with all brass keys

these are Japanese made, i believe
Wow I got mine for 140$
😂
I like your reviews but almost every sentence is another cut and it's annoying as hell. Sitting down and writing down what you want to say would really solve that. Apart from that: very enjoyable.
