That 911 turbo has aged well, obviously the fact it's a timeless design helps a lot, but even so, this still looks great today and still so impressive in terms of performance.

@Matt Diffey 911 is one of the most recognizable cars that ever existed, If that isnt timeless I dont know what is. People love them for the fact they dont change much with every new model. Its just natural that not everyone will like it, I think its a beautiful car.

Micheal Edson New 911s are larger and more luxurious and I wouldn’t really consider them so much a sports car. I think the more appealing car is a manual Cayman. You can still get it with about 400 horsepower (albeit, expensive) , it’s smaller and lighter than a 911 with a better platform and chassis.

I could understand if it had gated shifter but any other manual is garbage competed to any modern automatic gearbox even in fun on road and track. Most of my cars had manual gearboxes and honestly after switching to modern AT gearboxes I'm never going back to manual gearbox unless it's some classic car or gated gearbox in ferrari.

@@wykydytron I enjoy being in control. Sure, you can kind of emulate that with some cars that use paddle shifters but that's so boring and lifeless feeling. I like to drive cars not ride in cars. It's really just preference. I cannot stand driving automatics as my daily driver. I had one for 4 months and sold it because it was boring as hell and my left leg got muscle cramps from not using the clutch anymore haha. If someone else wants an automatic, that's fine, but none for me, ever. The only way I'll drive one is if the government bans combustion engines and we are forced to use electric, otherwise I will always buy a used car with a stick shift.

The power in the naturally aspirated cars is really quite surprising and they handle and sound fantastic. Personally I prefer the caymans but the 911 has gained a lot of my respect over the last few years.
