What would you grow on your farm? 🥔
Seeing a man who has driven the world's most expensive supercars being delighted for getting 5 pounds by selling potatoes is truly a sight worth seeing
Me and my mates used to pick potatoes as young lads back in the 70s and it was exactly like this. we'd get picked up in a van early in the morning and transported to what ever farm we were going to work at that day. You'd be assigned a row behind the tractor and pick the length of the field. Me and my mates used to pick a double row, which meant we got twice the daily rate but had to do twice the work. By the end of the day you'd be shattered with an aching back but you'd feel inches taller (because of the amount of mud stuck to the bottom of your boots :) You could take a couple of shopping bags full of spuds home each day if you wanted them, which I did and gave them to my mum and auntie. For a few weeks after the picking season, I couldn't look at a potato never mind eat one. 🥔😁
Not only did Clarkson set out to do his ultimate goal of having a farm, he did it at the worst possible time. Everything would have been so much more different if we never had the pandemic we had.
Now, every time I pass by a farm in the States and I see the machinery, I remember this series. Jeremy and Caleb has created something remarkable for the farming community here.
Adorable! It's literally not about the money but the joy on his face when he actually made sales..
Seeing Clarkson be super excited and happy about making 5£ from selling potatoes made my day.
potato picking is one of the main evens of the year on eastern european calendar, the whole family and relatives descent on one field, pick and sort the potatoes then have a festival with barbecue and drinking afterwards
People who don’t at least pay something at an honesty box fall into two categories: Too poor to have anything or jerks who don’t deserve it.
I love Alan! He's as much of a character as Gerald and Kaleb.
Jeremy, getting excited about selling a few spuds is very wholesome. Man has worked hard for that.
A British person finally understanding the difficulties of potato farming...
Jeremy this is SO inspiring! We're just starting to bring to life a farm of our own! Nice to see you can overcome obstacles so easily! 😍
This is inspirational, after living the life of glitz and glam, Jeremy gets a farm and starts farming.I am sold.
So good to see that my theory on farming is proved true.
It really is back breaking work. Farmers. Work hard
Solution: Harvest them, then turn them into chips. Bag them, then freeze them. Call them BazaChips.
I'm really surprised Jeremy didn't just have all the spuds made into Vodka...
Why does the word subsidy come to mind? LOL Cheers Jeremy and friends. Great health to all.
Looking forward to season 2 can’t wait ❤
