Jenson is the only one with a valid take on this. Everyone else is blowing this entire thing out of proportion, between speculating on lando and max’s friendship, whether max is “back to his old ways”… it’s hard racing. Sometimes it works out in your favor, sometimes it doesn’t. Max isn’t the only one that drives at the limit, or pushes it, accepts the penalty, but the margin of victory is a big enough gap that it doesn’t matter. If lando holds a grudge about it, it will impact his future races.

If a rival moves towards you, you're not forced to move with him. You can keep your line. And if you keep your line and he runs into you, then he has caused a collision and deserved the penalty. I don't understand how the explanation is "Lando should have gotten out of the way" because there was more space on the left.

Jenson being as objective as the drivers in question, nothing to see. All blown apart of proportion by the hysterical biased British media. Also correctly highlights the way drivers jump on the radio to peddle a narrative - we've had years of Mercedes in particular being quick to cause an incident and immediately play the victim on the radio.

Totally BS

I think it comes down to how Lando handles this from now on. I hope he doesn’t give in to Max and back down because if he does he won’t stand a hope. The interesting part is I wish Leclerc or anyone else for that matter was closer to Max too because then Max would be more hesitant to take out Lando if a second driver was close to him too. I want Lewis to win Silverstone followed by Lando!
