@passionspotatoes9182 Brits claim any success they can... However when hardship or failure arrives...not so much. It was such hardship that drove Albon to race under a Thai flag and not a British one. His mother went to prison in 2012, after which no British sponsors would touch him... He changed to Thai and his mother leveraged this to find sponsors, primarily Red Bull.

Born & raised in the UK. Only races under the Thai flag cause the Redbull Thai owner has backed his career. But not unusual, you see this in football all the time with English players repping Ireland, Jamaica, Nigeria etc at international level due to descent.

He's so well spoken and always so interesting to listen to. I wish he had another chance at a top team. Tho I'm not the biggest fan of the team, I would love to see hom and George in Mercedes together.

There's nothing ridiculous about it. If Oscar, Sainz, Leclerc, or any of the other drivers who could potentially be on the first or second row have a crash with Max, we could easily see a podium with three English drivers on it.

For brits, these are amazing questions.

The commentator talks about driver safety.... what the hell is he talking about. There was a light contact between Max and Lando and they got unlucky. If a light touch is not ok then stop the sport as a whole. What is wrong with the media in the UK.

Albon knows that now they see him as a British driver because it suits them. If he does bad, he's suddenly the Thai driver. He said this himself before and he's smart enough to know it.

The possibility of a race in Rayong, Thailand, is being discussed, and I'm looking forward to seeing him compete there in a few years.

Albons explanation of Max is really clever as it makes it relatable to a lot of young people. He compares it to a computer game. He describes max as driving on 100% sensitivity on controller. Its crazy knife edge but Max makes it work - where as others cannot.

@@Thu1111 Max was born & raised in Blegium to his whole life until he was 17 & moved to Monaco, only then did he get a Dutch passport cause for marketing reasons lol. Dutch don't like it when you call him belgian 😂

Yeah, because he calls himself Dutch. Max has openly said that Belgium is just the place were he used to sleep, but during the day went to the Netherlands were all his friends were, he also said that he was raised as a Dutch person and that's how he feels. Respect the man's wishes he is as Dutch as he is Belgian, he just rather race under the flag of the Netherlands because he feels more like a Dutch person.

His dad is Dutch which makes Max half Dutch and half Belgian because his mother was Belgian, regardless of where he was born or where he grew up.... your heritage from your parents dictates what you are not where you are born or where you grew up lol. People genuinely think because you are born in a country it means you are from there lol, makes literally no sense lol.
