He may not be the level of the other post Schumacher champions, but he’s by far the best driver to judge for tire change during wet to dry conditions or vise versa.

Sadly, he didn’t really see success until the second half of his career. If he’d got a bigger move earlier on, he would have won many more.

@@Nigel4could say that about any driver. Case and point, Hamilton getting into a championship winning car in his rookie season and then being in the Mercedes just as the new engine rules came in which Mercedes had a significant advantage

Why are so many people saying crap about Jenson? "Jenson barely having better stats than Massa who after 2009 was basically handicapped", " Most undeserving champion ever", "Worst world champion there’s ever been", " he's not very good is he" WTF. Jenson is a brilliant driver maybe not as successful as Schumacher or Hamilton but still has enormous talent and humor.

Massa had 4 less wins & 9 less podiums & he would've had more if he didn't almost lose an eye. Jenson barely having better stats than Massa who after 2009 was basically handicapped.... smh. He gets so much hype only because he is British. Not saying he is a bad driver he was decent at best & very good in tricky conditions

Hardly. JB was a master in the rain and a solid driver that has had a lot of bad luck and bad cars in his career. Plus he has beaten 3 team mates who are F1 world champions. Villeneuve, Hamilton and Alonso. Not exactly the stats of a bad driver. Stop hating and appreciate someone who in my opinion at least is very underrated.

When Lewis got signed for Mercedes they could have picked Jenson did they debate on who they wanted....
