Lovely guy. In 2009, he proved that nice guys do win. Once in a blue moon, OK, but still…

One of the true gentleman racers of F1, he drove with such smoothness and finesse like his hero Alain Prost. I've had the honour of meeting Jenson back in 2012 when he was at Brands Hatch during the DTM round; the German equivalent of BTCC.

taking nothing away from jenson that year, because he was fantastic, BUT. sneaky ross brawn was at it. he was involved in the making of the new regulations for 2009. and it just happens, his car has the double diffuser, which was a big advantage. pretty sure brawn new about this loophole as he was making the regulations.

@@SyeDrumsTo some extent they do get lucky to be with the right team at the right time. To have a fast car. But to be a superstar someone needs to be extremely successful and Jenson wasn’t. That’s not saying that he wasn’t good or wasn’t successful but he wasn’t that upper caliber of being extremely successful. That’s Lewis, Max, Seb, Fernando, and drivers like Schumacher. They were extremely successful and didn’t just do it one year when the rules just worked in their favor.

No, no it wasn't. This year, 2020, 2015, all were far more boring than 2009. First half when Jenson won 6 out of 7 sure, except he didn't win a single race in the second half and both Rubens and Sebastian looked like they could put up a title fight while Jenson tried to hold on to his points
