Awesome video as always. I purchased these roughly 3 mins after receiving the launch email. The file names are hilarious like previous releases. Had an absolute blast pulling an all nighter with these new IRs.

I love Ragnarok pickups on my baritone guitar, glad to see them getting some love!

Sounds absolutely great for drop tuning that guy makes some of the best I r's that are out there nicely done on the video.

I’ve been a die hard Ownhammer IR fanboy but these sound fantastic. Gonna have to pick this pack up for my Helix Rack. Great video, dropped a sub!

This pack is awesome especially when used with ignite libra. Gotta love linearity and superposition and more importantly the power of convolution. I know this video is about the AMAZING Bogren Digital Downtuned pack, but I've gotta say you were ABSOLUTELY CORRECT when you said "IR loaders: they are not equal" (Jeremy Fox).

Here watching 💕

Instabuy for me as I need something to try out on my valve amps to get some contrast in mixes aside my normal choice of IR. Can't wait to hook things up in a minute and get jamming. 🤘🤘

The IR's are great but the guitar is KILLER !!

Was there any additional EQ on the guitar tones in this video or are these trailer out of the box with no additional EQ? Thank you

Hey, Peter. From memory, there was a touch of Pro-Q3 on the guitar bus that just had some dynamic EQ of the low-end just as a safety net to ensure things didn't get boomy when palm muting. If anything, I likely already had that there before using the Downtuned IRs (I started this project before those IRs were available). Hope that helps.

Sounds sick, Jeremy! Would you propose this pack for C standard or the "normal" IR pack from Jens?

Thanks, dude! I’d probably recommend the standard rhythm pack. However, the down tuned pack does work really well for non low tuned stuff as well though. So you really can’t go wrong with either pack. There’s also the Cabs of Chaos IR packs I’ve released on www.AugustRoseAudio.com. Both of those packs (Vol 1 & 2) work great for both standard and low tuned stuff.

These IRs did just improve my mixdown A FUCK TON lol. was using standard neural ones (which are good, but not great, definitely on the better side of things) mixed with STOCK cabinet IRs in ableton but wow.

Great question. I tried on a few tunings and they worked well. They excel at tightening up the low-end and adding top-end bite. Any time you want those sort of characteristics in your tone, these would work perfectly.

sounds good but own hammer has a down-tuned IR pack as well and its significantly cheaper.

Wow these irs are amazing! I have only one doubt! Can they also be used with non-super detuned tunings, such as Drop B or Drop A?

For that tuning range I think I'd go with the Bogren Rhythm IR pack or Ownhammer Heavy Hitters Mesa OS straight Rectifier cab.

Hi Jeremy. I have just bought the STL Tonehub and the Northlane pack, but haven't been able to use it yet because my computer broke down. Would this IR work well with that? I have a song that has a low F and thought this looks great. Thanks very much! :)

Hey! Unfortunately, ToneHub doesn’t allow changing IRs. You’ll have to use the IRs that are baked into the presets in the Northlane pack.

You missed the opportunity to play ‘Only thing they fear is you’ from Doom eternal perfect song for this ir pack! Which ir from the 30 in this has the most clairty, definition and bite? I use Chainsaw bliss and 100watt razorblade ( from kohle’s pack) ir’s for low tuned stuff sometimes. I hope this can rival that pack.

Haha, missed opportunity for sure. There are a few that have a really great top-end bite. Some of Kohle’s IRs, like the ones you mention, do have a ton of top end but haven’t worked well for low tunings on their own, at least for me. I end up having to pair Chainsaw or 100watt razor blade with something like Modern Vocal Standard from the Rainbows pack so that it has some low-end and a bit more midrange. All the audio samples in this video demonstrate a single IR from the down-tuned pack. What I’ve found is they each have the best of everything I want in a low tuned guitar tone. Tight and controlled low-end, punchy and clear mid-range, and a nice top-end bite. I didn’t need to blend anything with them to get what I wanted. They each just worked perfectly on their own.

Potentially. If you’re looking for something that provides a super tight and controlled low-end, punchy and defined mid-range, and plenty of top-end bite, these might work out well.

They sound amazing. I’m using a pretty high amount of gain in the audio samples in this video. They also sound fantastic with lower amounts of gain, which adds more definition. It’s totally up to you but they sound amazing either way.

Can't I just high pass my guitar and then add a high mid boost? ;)

I'm listening on my phone's speaker and the guitar sounds like white noise regardless of the impulse use or what you're fretting it's hilarious.

i dunno, i'm not really all that impressed by these demos. everything sounds kind of muddy and distant
