Thankfully Lily vouched for Jenny!

This was such an iconic scene for the show. I was rooting so hard for her success. Idrk why Rufus was so against it when the fashion show was a success and necessary for Jenny to get her name out there. Artists do things like this all the time and Jenny had the talent and connections to make this dream come true and Rufus was the only standing in her way

Lily was awesome in this scene. Jenny did something bold and inspiring and yes, maybe a little crazy lol but she is a wonderful designer. Cannot believe he tried to get her arrested.

If lily said it was okay than it was okay, why is rufus so against it?!! What kind of a father is he?! He is the worst!!

Personally, I kind of understand why Rufus was upset. He had seen how the upper east side and the want for popularity and attention had changed her. He didn’t want her to ruin someone else’s event or make something someone else paid a lot of money for all about her. He wanted her to live her dreams but earn it in an honest way. Once Lily said she was okay with it though, he should’ve backed off a little. Trying to get his own daughter arrested is too far

I always find it weird in moments like these how Rufus is wrong and in moments like when Serena and her friends tried to get the money that her faux friend scammed off of people and how wrong Lily was for getting Serena arrested.

So because he's worried about fame going into her head, instead of educating her, he should stand against her dreams? I don't think so! Rufus was an artist, he should know better than anyone that in order to make it in the art scene, you need to be bold.
