I thought the movie was very artistic, something a lot of this generation girls wouldn’t be able to create(since most of them are studio singers, talking to you Dua Lipa 👀). watch any of this girls live and you tell me if you can find the energy?????. She made reference to Janet, Michael, Barbara, 2000s pop. Nowadays things like this are called confusion, but back in 2008 lady Gaga did it and we called it innovation…….. Artist like Janet Jackson who use their music video as a short film to create visuals for her Rhythm Nation Album, Michael with Thriller , or Britney choreography. Madonna with her religious visuals as a way to speak about her beliefs and sexuality. Pop music always had artist like this! Not the greatest voices but an artist with a visual appeal. This is the part that confuses me about a lot of this reviews and TikTok robots. But let Selena Gomez do a full ballad with Julia Michaels backing vocals and call it inspiring………. Dua Lipa still promoting Future Nostalgia and calling it a new era(repetitive music is not creative), while Doja Cat and Lil Nas X busy playing telephone with satan….. Nicki Minaj is a bully, Drake releases anything and yall stream it, while Jack Harlow can only get a hit if he’s using a sample, and yall call them artists or creative people/minds. But JLo is confusing 🫤???

I love pop culture but a lot of this new pop stars can’t hold a candle to the generation before. And I was a child watching this on tv. We don’t even get a good music video unless is Miley, Taylor or Beyonce. Where is the creativity? Dua is a big example of this. Watching her live is a whole different experience. I love her for trying but remember, she became a pop star during a global pandemic. We didn’t get to really see her live. Now we do and we all are a bit taken back. Also…. why is everyone making a big deal about the sales when she herself knew that it might not sell? It wasn’t suppose to be a chart topping album, it was a passion project with 0 expectations. It was for the love that she has for music and fun. She knew she was taking a huge risk not just by releasing an album when She hadn’t in 10 years but also THE SOUND. At the end of the day she’s remained relevant for so long! She’s almost 60, has a net worth of 400 million, still outperforms these younger artists, and has sold over 80 million records worldwide. She’s not trying to prove anything anymore, she is JENNIFER LOPEZ.

The album is an actual flop, so y'all can say what you want about the video, but they're right. I don't even see it on the top 200 a week and a half after it's release. That is a flop! No hit singles either.

I am a huge Jennifer Lopez lover and supporter. On the 6, her best album. This is me then, her 2 nd best and Love was great. I liked the new this is me now movie. But this album is so bad I can’t listen to it. Because I adore JLo you can’t even be mad at me. The songs are not current. The flavour is 20years ago and not in a cute way. The lyrics may be ok but the melodies are not. There is no great thumping tracks and any of the other ones that you love the tune and sing along with are absent from this album. I have taken off any of the songs from my playlist as I found the moment they started I was skipping them anyway. Jen also said in the Apple interview I think it was that she didn’t care about music trends. What??? The???? Bleep? How can you be a musical artist who leads in a commanding way and not care about trends. Your not Barry Manilow for god’s sake. Meaning you are not that old that you can’t be on top of it all musically. Just look at Mariah Carey’s Remix single with Ariana Grande. Completely current and No 1. On this album Mad in Love was ok but again I would skip on my play list anyway so - is it really ok? I can’t remember a single tune or melody from this album. Forgetful and even though I have been waiting for this album for so long I didn’t listen close enough to hear the auto tune. I would go back and try to pick it but I disliked the album so much I wouldn’t waste my time.

Jlo is super blah. Her songs are boring and she can’t sing. She had a momentum after her superbowl, but even her old songs are so dated and forgetful.

What? her Superbowl performance was amazing. There's a good collection of tracks on the album. Rebound Dear Ben Pt2 Hearts and Flowers not.going.anywhere This is me now. and she's been an array of movies since the late 90s, some great some not but overall she gets out there and kills it. trust she's going to sell tickets. ..you guys aren't giving any credit at all. make another video when her tour is over, her last one grossed over 50 Million.
