What I respect about jlo is… she never give up, even when she take a beating… she will get back up and keep on walking with a smile

They are the sentiments of a confident woman who knows precisely what she wants with acute self awareness. I'm currently in a situation where I like a guy who can only offer me friendship because he doesnt want a r/s at the moment due to his recent breakup. I thought I would be OK with it at first, I tried convincing myself that this person I'm so attracted to and enjoy spending time with is just my friend. I realised I was fooling myself and the day I admitted to myself that I dont wanna be just his friend, I want more, I felt peace within. Now I'm gonna tell him exactly what I think and feel and walk away. If he wants me, he knows how to find me.

Go for it Trees!! I was scared to death right before I did it. Cos I had never been in a situation like this before, had a million fears. But I did it. And you can too. As long as you believe whatever you are saying with 100% conviction and you speak from a place of honesty and humility without accusations or judgement, you will be fine. I told the guy, "You're free to live your life the way you wanna live it and you dont owe me anything. I just want you to know that I think about you everyday and you're an awesome guy and if you ever decided you wanna give us a chance, you tell me. If Im not already with someone else, I will put my heart and soul into it. And if you decide you wanna be with someone else, then I wish you all the happiness. I had to tell you this because I dont want to be just friends, and my feelings just wanted to be heard thats all." This is what I said according to my situation. In your case Trees, just tell yourself that whatever happens, you're gonna honour YOUR feelings by letting them out and the rest is up to destiny. You show him the best version of YOU. Don't worry about anything else. Good luck!

Does she talk about David Cruz her first love? That was a real true relationship that set the bar. When you have a great first love it can set up your personal life in the future.

@@bbdass4598 No. She mentions P Diddy, Cris and Ben Affleck in the book. She mostly talks about the ending of her marriage to Marc and the life after divorce.

Because of your open about hard time in a relationship and break up - I forgive myself for them in my life. Thank you Jennifer!!! You did so much more than just a few minutes interview..... Oh. Strong brave woman!

Interesting when the interviewer asked Jennifer what she would look for when dating her next guy and one of the things she said was "super faithful", so i wonder who it was in her past that wasn't "faithful".

@@carolii4834 well.. it s kind of all over town Isn’t it .. if it weren’t true, jlo wouldn’t be dropping all those hints about being hurt by unfaithful partners.. if he were innocent she d protect her children s father s Reputation (by saying btw it s NOT him I m talking about especially given all those rumours).. what she s not saying in Interviews is quite interesting imo. She s just saying in the failure of a marriage both are somewhat to blame, but that she was falling apart when something happened .. a very diplomatic way of saying what he did to me was extemely hurtful and actually he is overwhelmingly to blame. Also, the way he reacts to the question in interviews is quite interesting. He denies it halfheartedly imo. But you know - we re all entitled to form our opinion. Jlo was classy enough to leave it open

She's looking for a "super faithful" guy. So if the rumors were true about A-Rod cheating or talking to another woman (sans sex) then she probably called off the engagement with the quickness. No way she was gonna marry him.

@Exposing Liars There was def something disingenuous about him. I could never quite put my finger on it. I never got that either of them were madly in love with each other. I honestly think Jennifer was settling because he seemed to be a good match culturally and on paper. Thank goodness she came to her senses before they married.

Jamya Smith LOL she has moved on. She's using his name for publicity. She wrote a book. The kids keep them connected. He's a top musician. Very well known. She has a former lover who's a good friend and the father of her kids. And after the divorce, she doesn't mind being friends with him at all. She seems to prefer it. She's totally over him. This is how she works.

She says, "when I sat down to write the book..." She didn't' write jack shit.....she employs people to write for her and she puts her opinions in it.... big whoop!! Every celeb book is exaggerated for ratings.
