She is in her wacko jacko era Every artist has to pass this era unfortunately. Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Megan Thee Stallion, Taylor swift. It is a trend to hate on celebrities and drag them through the mud. Sure Jennifer Lopez might have been nasty behind the scenes but let’s not act like all these celebrities we call divas like Diana Ross and the late Aretha Franklin haven’t been nasty and mean to other people behind the scenes. Even Beyoncé has been called out by her former employees, but somehow we all ignore it because she has a solid fanbase. People cheer for mean individuals like Naomi Campbell and call them “diva” when they’re being nasty to other people, we need to stop picking and choose who we cancel. If we’re cancelling Jennifer Lopez we need to cancel everyone who steal music and screw smaller artists like Beyoncé too, like all the other major artists who have been mean to other people

@@Moicesy Beyoncè and Jennifer Lopez have never stole anything- their teams and record labels had been doing it for them. They were never aware of. I think JLo had already few flop releases like Brave and AKA, but during them she was still likeable and respected. Unfortunately, for the last couple of years Black community decided to hate on her wholeheartedly, but they have a problem to be honest with her team, not with her in person. Another thing is that it has never been proven- any bad behaviour of JLo- or recorded. Those are always gossips and empty words with no alibi, whereas likes of Rihanna or Mariah Carey have been nothing but haughty, shady and rude throughout their whole careers openly but somehow people turn the blind eye on them and pretend they don't see it, but when it comes to JLo she might do nothing and people still will shit on her- this is how hate on her got out of control.

What was supposed to be a reneissance of Jennifer's musical career turned out for her to be a big flop and even a bigger object of hate for all of her haters...I don't know why people are so hypocritical- they have a problem Jennifer's voice was mixed in some of her singles' choruses (we're talkin' bout few songs vs. few hundred in her career she sang all by herself) whereas they don't chase Rihanna, Selena Gomez nor Britney Spears for doing the same. Selective hate? All these people hating on her have no shame and no good manners on their plate- they just want to hate Jennifer so bad no mattet what. You can show them all the needed proofs- they'll still argue with you like "yeah, but it's JLo and it's okay to hate on her". She didn't steal a thing. She's not a culture vulture. She was working with A-listers in movie industry before Selena and before coming across Puff Diddy/Tommy Mottola. I think the problem is late millennials and Gen Z's don't want to listen to energetic femminine girlish singers like the previous generations did with Britney or JLo back in 00s and early 10s. @@MedJayParis I don't know whether the tables will turn for Jennifer one day, Afro-American community (in big part, I don't say everyone but there's an obvious tendency) is very aggressive and delulu in their judgments and accusations that are easy for them as breathing, whereas they idealise, protect and idolise toxic vulgar artists (often male beaters) such as a certain Chris Brown or some sportsmen, but luckilly I don't live in US right now to must come across such a hypocritical community in real life. They are the people who created the whole hate train on miss Jennifer over the last 8-9 years, cause they suddendly decided that she entered into the music industry to destroy all the living Black artists (xd). Yeah, this was for sure her intention when commencing her music career and the whole world circles around Black pride & culture and stealing & benefitting from them- there aren't other important things in life. Thanks for such a well written and thought out post. What has changed so suddenly to cause such a backlash? I read posts from several years ago and there was more positivity about Jennifer instead of negativity. Sure she’s had her detractors but it wasn’t at this level. What I do notice is that it seems to have rolled back to the Bennifer era. It’s as if they’re being blamed for hurting ex Garner and her family. Ben and Garner have been divorced for years. Ben’s dated others since their divorce and ex Garner’s supposedly involved with John Miller. She doesn’t want him anymore, besides someone in her camp said that Ben wasn’t her problem anymore. Let Ben and Jen try to find happiness together in their future. 🙂
