May 2024 ... still listening 🎧 ageing like fine whine

I am sure JLO will never see this, but I have to comment. I know this song is directed to a couple, for I have watched the movie twice, but this song has become so special to me for a whole other reason. My husband and I were never able to have children, which I longed for and grieved myself into depression for many years. I finally gave up and excepted that I would never be a mom at age 35. Then when I turned 40 my husbands nephew and his girlfriend had a baby they weren’t able to take care of. We are now the proud parents of an amazing 10 year daughter. She was born to be our child. I love her birth mom and dad because without them I wouldn’t have her to be a mom too. I have known for many years now that I was never able to have my own children because I had to wait on her to be born. Through all the heartache and pain and the many tears she was worth waiting on. This is a beautiful song and it has spoken to me about waiting on my daughter

Just watched the movie! Just WOW. Best movie I have seen in a long time. The positive vibes from this film. I smiled ear to ear during the whole thing. What a wonderful story. The characters in the whole film....the kids in the class even. This is what the world needs now. All you need is love....and this film is shining with it.

@@Siertje I really didn’t mean her age…but it surely plays a part. Maturity in her attitude toward her art. Her talents have gotten better due to her dedication. She put in an Oscar worthy performance in “Marry Me” IMHO. Her performance won’t get the credit it deserves due to the whimsical storyline. The music in the film was perfect for the story as well. Her vocals are powerful without being overwhelming. JLo has mastered her craft.

I love how her truth is mixed in the movie an her voice gets to play out everything. She is a amazing person an woman for girls to look up too.

The movie was good enough that I watched it twice in a row. Haven't watched a movie that way in years!!! Fantastic Romcom.

To me it feels like it was for Ben at the end. But the beginning she's hurt and starting to heal from her ex and at the end she starts to realize she's worth self love and loving someone else. Notice how she's all in black in the beginning like the death of relationship and she's in the dark and looking sad and broken and at the end she takes off her jacket and you see the green lights all around her behind her and green meaning she's ready to go and move on from pain from the past. She's letting go and baring her soul. And notice the end she smiling and dancing and happy. She's happy again. And she is on her way to her soulmate Ben. It always leads back to Ben. ✨✨✨

This song, has really taken a turn on how I view it and what it means to me... Right now, I am going through a journey of self acceptance, and recovery from alcohol and drugs... I've been on this journey of recovery now for about 4 months now, and I happened to be listening to this song yesterday, when I realized this song isn't just about finding your true love, but it also is about finding that one true love, which can be yourself. This journey I have decided to embark on has really taught me the true meaning of self acceptance and self love. And for me right now, this song is really giving that inspiration to continue to find myself, and how to love myself more. Thank You Jlo!!! Love you girly! ❤❤❤
