Never knew Jennifer Larmore sang K. She is an absolute revelation. It's spot on.! One feels the horror happening all around her. Bravissima.

She is not only a singer. She is a human force!

While Jennie is just magnificent here, I feel she still doesn't get her due...She "owns" so many roles, like Cesare and Rosina...and really, this one too! She should have won an Oscar for this, you know, if they gave Oscars for opera singers...Jennie demonstrates just how important acting skills are for opera singers...It's not just about the voice...And she should know, she's been singing for well over 30 years. Brava Jennie!

Larmore sings this wonderfully. But back in the day, I saw Varnay (in Munich) and Kniplova (in Vienna) and they were positively terrifying in the role!

This is THE BEST of the BEST!!!!! There is no Kostelnicka like Larmore's.This is one of the most difficult roles next to Prokoffiews Renata (in the Fiery Angel), and there are a lot of very great singers in this role, Astrid Varnay, Eva Marton, Karita Mattila, Ute Trekel-Burckhardt. But nobody can sing and act it like Jennifer Larmore. I am speechless... What a sound, what a dramatic art, what a great opera. THANK YOU! Would like to have the full version of this production. Possible?

We all know her level of singing, but can we talk about the acting? Singers like didonato and julia bullock are known for their acting skillls today, but we did had Larmore before honey.

Wow!! Her voice has aged just beautifully and she hasn't lost her high notes at all. Is this a soprano role? The tessitura certainly seems high enough.

Great singing, shame about the accents and pronounciation in Czech but when you hear such a hair-rising interpretation you can not help but forgive all! Brava!
