Marcus Bornslater, known as Mr. B to his students, is a fourth-grade teacher from a Title 1 school in Dallas, Texas, whose videos of him showing off his stylish classroom fashion often go viral. Mr. B pursued a career in education to be a role model to kids of color, and he keeps his classroom stocked with snacks and hygiene products to help students in need. Im currently a teacher and administrator of 25 years and I totally agree. I call young black male teachers “unicorns”
Teachers are so special.
I've been teaching for 34 years and I was sounding just like this young man fact was I 22 years old. What blessed me is that the kids look at me as an uncle or a father figure, now some of the students look at as a grandpa😂. the relationship part of it with the students and parents is very important. And it's rewarding in the end. I look at him and I see myself.
I love how he treats his students he make them feel special ❤️ 😊
He’s a true role model. The average teacher wouldn’t have done the bare minimum to keep their kids interested in school. Especially now there’s a teacher shortage. He looks amazing, and it’s amazing to see a guy like me spreading happiness and joy in the education system!
