I am so glad that I was lead by Spirit to play this song. I thank Jennifer for singing such a beautiful, inspiring song. I appreciate that she sang a song that was appropriate for the occasion. I'm a fan of both her and Debbie Allen, and I want success for the Rhimes Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles. We need the ARTS!.

Jennifer is just fabulous. No matter what she sings her singing is right on point. She truly gifted. One of the Lords angels right here on earth. Jennifer you keep on doing what you do. You bring so much joy.

where, and at anytime. She’s definitely an all time superstar. I love any songs that’s sung by Jennifer Hudson, cause they are all dynamic; her music, her voice just touches the heart.

Simply superb, what a talent this lady is.

I love this version at least as much as the version she sang on the voice…so, you see 10 people = 11 opinions and tastes…however, she is such a gifted and talented person, you find a vocalist like her once under millions of people. Complaining about the smallest things is somtimes, well you know, not really grateful. We should be happy about being able to listen to gifts like her. A treasure for us all :)

At the voice said when the song started "that's a lil high" and it was high so she sang it a higher key... For those wondering why it's at lower key, the pianoman at the voice played at a higher key and so she also sang higher to counteract it

I think the song reflects her stance. I believe it was Jesus who was scorned and covered with scars and He marched into he'll. But, Jennifer has been through a lot and has kept her dream.
