I would vote for Gretchen Menn because she's also unmatched in acoustic guitar. But, IDK, there's probably some woman out there no one's ever heard of who'd crush'em both.

I saw Jen in a club in the early ‘90s. She had our jaws on the floor. She chatted with us outside between sets and was so laid back. I saw her twice after that when she was in Jeff’s band, and she played all those Hammer lines on guitar. Dedicated artist. Stellar player.

When Jenny first arrived on the scene many many years ago she played a set at GIT in Hollywood and tore a new one in every shredder in the room the guys watching couldn't believe what they heard no one and I mean NO ONE there had ever heard a chick play guitar on that level and with balls as big as any dude she was and is an incredible talent.

Got a chance to see her twice while with Jeff Beck. Awesome shows !

+MrBlueshammer Me too - youtube has been great for me to hear music I could never have heard before the YT generation. If we had the internet 40 years ago I would have been a much better musician, for sure.

The first time I saw J.B. ....was at G.I.T. ....late 80's....I didn't know who she was....she did "Flight Of The Bumblebee"....all two handed....blew me away...had her as a teacher at M.I. when I attended the year course....loved her then....MORE so now!!!!....she'll ALWAYS be one of my FAVES!!!....

That's a cool story. She lives in Portland Or, and 6 years ago she had her custom guitar stolen, and it was on the local news. I don't know if she found it.
